We have one more game to play therefore we have an additional opportunity to earn points The fact that we have to play all of the sides that we're competing with means that at least it's in our own hands, if we beat them then we'll fully deserve the coveted place
Surely Brian McDermott? He's been manager of the season imo, how he got 23 points with that shower at Reading is unbelievable.
Now theres a turn up for the books a Liverpool fan talking about history... When was the last time West Brom did the double over you before this season? and not to be too one sided when was the last time Wigan tanked us 3-0 at Goodison? I like your slightly harder fixtures for us remark though lol Only slightly eh ha ha your mates reckon your going to climb above us easily as our fixtures are much harder? not all about past form/history I bet you said In 89' nah Man Utd will never overtake our 18 titles they've not won It since the year dot lol
To be fair it was Brian McDermott that made the squad. Chris Gunter, Nicky Shorey, Adrian Mariappa & Stephen Kelly are hardly the type of players that are going to keep you in the premier league, which makes me think whether the plan for Reading is to go down again and use these players to come back up? But they benefit from the massive parachute payments? And the thing is I bet most of the players they signed aren't on big wages anyway, so when they go down they'll have a strong championship squad so they won't have to strengthen much, if at all. Meaning the owner will get to pocket the money himself? Probably a better solution to make money than risking giving the manager funds to sign good players for massive transfer fees on massive wages, isn't it? Because they can be a massive burden for a club when they go down.
I obviously didn't say "it'll be easy". Grow up. Having a game in hand also means an opportunity to drop points. We just won, so our points from game 31 are on the board. If you do win those fixtures then of course you will have deserved your place.
I didn't say it was all about past form or history. I was just saying David Moyes' record at the Emirates is hardly inspiring. And he's got a similar record at Anfield & Stamford Bridge. He may break his duck and get a win at one of those grounds, he may get a win at all three this season, I'm just saying its quite unlikely. You have 4 (out of 14) away wins all season (Swansea, Aston Villa, Newcastle & West Ham) and Moyes has never won at the Emirates, Stamford Bridge (maybe once on penalties) or Anfield.
You said you'd overtake us 'easily' ergo you believe it's an easy task - think about it 'child' So having an extra game means you can 'drop' points? So we could have less than we started with? Stick to the rep whoring its about all you're worthy of you ****stain
"I can still see..." doesn't mean "We will...". If I meant "We will..." I would have said that. Keep whining about it and throwing around pathetic insults though You started the day 6 points ahead. Now you are 3 points ahead with a game in hand. You think your situation has improved?
We started the weekend 3 points ahead with a game in hand & we've finished the weekend 3 points ahead with a game in hand Go have a sit in a darkened room & allow that simple fact to permeat your little juvenile brain I see you doled out your punishment haha, got any more? You pathetic little scrote
Is that all you have to offer lol... I'd be more than yawning If I was you with Brendan Brent being overly keen to give Stevie "over the hill" Me a new contract A team such as yours that supposed to be on their way up offering a player who goes missing for large portions of a game and living off his past good name Is a Joke lol If you lot want to Improve you need to flog him and buy someone with legs that last 90 mins lol or you'll be yawning next year too.... You read It here 1st you lot will be ripping him to shreds next year...
Stevie Me and his go go gadget head if you don't mind You can't seriously suggest his legs have gone that much when he's one of only three Prem players to have played every minute of the season levels of banter must improve JOTL...you get a D- for that effort.
Bessn saying since last december that if we're within six points of you by the derby it's still all to play for. Have a horrible feeling that by the law of averages Moyes is due a win at Anfield, but nonetheless IF you can get fourth place, good luck to you (as we certainly can't). Just think Spurs, escpecially, and maybe Chelsea and arsenal too are just a tad better than you atm, and definitely us. As you say though, you all have to play (and take points off) each other. Now, if only we could rely on liverpool to take advantage of that and beat the likes of QPR, West Ham, Fulham and Newcastle...... not 100% confident though.
Poor effort. You should have saved this for another time, not when he has just put in a man of the match performance
Wasn't that Impressed with him tbh and haven't been for most of this season. Stand by what I have said you will be tearing your hair out with him next season like you were the 1st half of this season or has that been forgotten?
Started off the first goal with a long pass to Coutinho. Scored the second goal. Prevented an equaliser with one of the best clearances of the season. What more do you want? Also, Everton don't have to look as far back as half a season ago to be frustrated with an aging captain
