He should have gone before Villa, Saints and Reading at home, thats 7 dropped points there, theyd come in handy right now.

Seems a very odd timing to sack a manager - 7 games left of the season is not really enough time - but then again it depends if they have someone lined up to come in straight away (surely they must have).

But if you have Adam Johnson in your team that is one supply line to the strikers cut straight away. I dont rate him at all tbh. And the analysis on MOTD last night explain why.

Di Canio would have the type of personality to make an immediate impression.

Adam Johnson has been so bad it's unreal. The twat actually had the cheek to defend his form this season. He won't have beaten his man more than 10 times ALL SEASON.

I reckon we're safe now, if MoN had stayed we would have been down, no two ways about it. New manager should give the club a lift

BBC report David Milliband has resigned from the Cats board because Mr Di Canio has previously claimed to be "a fascist, not a racist". He clearly didn't like the former part as a political position.

    ....... one way or another.

Looks like the Sunderland team are lining up for a quick trip on the DiCanio Rollacoaster. Some will enjoy the ride, other will throw up while many will wonder what hit them

Well, he would have found it difficult to be an active Sunderland FC vice chairman from his job in New York.

Di Canio......all ego, his politics are about attention seeking, which doesn't make them less odious. I understand he is into bushido/samurai bollocks now, and reading Mishima (he clearly does not know that Mishima was gay, as well as a right wing nut). All signs of arrested development.

He won't help Sunderland, they don't have any good, or even in form, players.

What utter bullshit that video is. The bloke's an Italian fascist which has no link to racism other than the link we put on it for no particular reason. I suggest people look that up.

That salute has been performed by Romans for around 2000 years much like how the swastika was claimed so was that. This racism talk is ridiculous.

If Di Canio ever became our manager I would stop going. Thankfully Sunderland have done the dirty deed.
