Tempted to go over and recommend they change their kit colour again to Yellow so the players and staff feel more at home!
- saw your post H - good one - they might not see the funny side To be fair to them most of the replies were well written and they seem a fair bunch - but as always you get the occasional prat who just wants to be abusive and live in their own prejudice - but I enjoy responding to the likes of them as they rarely know what hit them.
I didn't know ice hockey was big in Malaysia, as red shirts and black shorts is also the kit for the Cardiff Devils and was their away kit when home shirts had to be white under league rules. http://www.cardiffdevils.com/
So Scott Loach is moving further down the pecking order. Watford first team and England hopeful to third choice at Ipswich http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21965042 I do feel sorry for him. Leaving Watford just before the Pozzo project started taking off, after years of quite nasty criticism, to join Ipswich where he is obviously struggling to make the grade. Something is very wrong in the house of Loach.
Not sure about that - he is the current number one there & this guy (who to be honest was crap at Aberdeen) may have been signed as their West Ham loanee went back last month. Still not up to Bond's class though, never mind Almunia's.
Like most young goalies he is a good shoot stopper but not very good at anything else goalkeeping wise.
Whatever your view on technology in the game, the headline of this article is priceless. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21970741
This man Cameron is a meddling twat. Why can't he and his party just disappear.... http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/...on-pushing-celtic-rangers-move-084107040.html
Apart from anything else I would have thought that taking Scotland's big two and letting them play in England could inflame anti-English sentiment. Not sure how he calculates it would help his cause - no that I believe it anyway as it is likely to be made up by the papers
Totally mad and potentially a disaster..... All I think is that someone is flying a kite to gauge reaction.... and that is me thinking better of the man than I do...
Someone should tell him that Government interference in the running of FAs can mean FIFA enforcing penalties on the nations concerned. If he does decide to try force both the English and Scottish FAs in getting this through, he could find that he loses the next election because he has upset both English and Scottish football fans, although with the Tory record in Scotland, it wouldn't make much difference there!
Neil Warncock has reportedly left his job as Weeds manager. He said he would retire if he couldnt get them promotion, and as their play-off hopes were ended tonight he seems to have stood by his word.
..and has reportedly recommended that Neil Redfearn take charge. Pity he didn't stay - they are only two defeats off a relegation spot.
I see your prime minister wants to have Celtic and Rangers in the English league. The Welsh have and have had Swansea City/Town Cardiff City Newport County Wreham and Merthyr Tydfil at timesso there is a pervious example. If the football league ever consider to think about this why take a team from the Scottish third division why not one from Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Dundee?
I think you're all being a bit harsh on young Dave. He has shrewdly calculated that there are hundreds of thousands of closet Conservative voters in the Glasgow area, just crying out for someone who is Scottish through and through to speak up on the issues that really matter to them.
