Wigans 1st clean sheet all season !!!! We just can't find the goal, fear we will be playing Championship football at this rate.

We've scored 5 goals in 11 games this year and failed to score on 7 occasions.

On the bright side, Wigan's game in hand is away at Manchester City, so hopefully they'll get nothing there.

No stream so I watched the Reading game on TV and the good news is that they are awful and we should actually beat them. Sounds as if we will play to get a draw again, though.

No wonder with a scaredy cat in charge! Our style is barren of ideas, dependent on us keeping a shape and hoping somebody will score. They were never put under real pressure at the back and we could have brought on Holt far earlier and kept Kamara on as I didn't realise Bennet was playing until he walked off at the end. Howson and Johnson controlled the centre of the pitch and we were never under pressure. But oh no, CH and PT stand yapping on the touchline and do nothing. We used to moan about Italian defensive football but now we have it have week in week out. Camp was at fault of course and one mistake was always going to win it.
I don't care about next season, we haven't got there yet. You take one game at a time and comment on one game at a time. And our football is boring, unattractive and now, losing football.

I was not previously aware that you were a mathematical genius Wubbs but now I do know I am sure I don't need to point out that if Fulham win on Monday night by 2 goals then we will gain further ground on you and you wont be quite so chipper

It's looking like us or Sunderland for the third place (unless QPR overtake both of us). Southampton and Newcastle are much too good to go down, Wigan are going to pull it off yet again, Villa have a manager who has the guts to try to win games, West Ham always pull out a home win when they need it, and Stoke are as boring as us but much more solid.

At this stage Thai not playing and yet moving above reading is a cause for celebration, might have to get Dave to break the single malt out tonight

I've got say though why do you always stitch us up? Couldn't holt have bought a penalty today as per usual? Bloody Wigan bloody Norwich!

Hughton must be actively telling the players to play for the draw, because I can't find any other explanation for our shyness in front of goal.

I would put money on us not scoring next week. We are looking extremely poor, gutless and dull and in danger of sliding into the 3rd and final relegation spot.

Don't we have to be in the opponents penalty box to win one of them????

Sorry mate, not nearly enough going forward to get one of them <wah>

Oh cheer up we beat the Swans next week and all will be good again at least we are 4 points clear of the the relegation zone much better than being in it!
We still have Reading Villa and WBA at home they are all winnable

Oh and if all goes to pot and we sink life still goes on , fed up with the thoughts if some that we should be just turning up and beating Wigan such a silly idea they have been up here 8 years for heavens sake

Oh what you mean all 1 penalties we've "bought" this season....?

I wish we could just buy them but we don't seem to get close enough to the opponents penalty area to get them. All our players are seemingly being told to stand at the other end and defend a 0-0 draw every game....

Sorry Jarrold but that appears to be making excuses for a gutless performance, as has been the case all to often since the turn of the year.

Our home games are going to be the key now. 4 points is an absolute minimum from then, which would put us on 38 points, which might even be enough (just). What I would give for 3 points right now though...

So we only have to turn up and beat Reading, Villa and Albion? But not Wigan? Your logic and reasoning escapes me.

Did I say we would just turn up and beat them??? I can't see anywhere I said that I just said they are winnable games please read before posting
I hope we can scrape 3 or 4 points cause I believe in my team yes we are not tearing the PL up that's probably because it is the Premier League and we are new to it with a new manager
Keep smiling and enjoy it while we are in it if we survive this year rVW will help us in the same fight next

You hope we can scrape 3 or 4 points. So you haven't got that much belief.

Or just maybe it isn't the league we are in but the way we set out to play in that league that is the problem.
