    Shame about the crap defending, but that was seriously a fantastic first half. As good as I've seen us-- maybe any team-- play this season.

    The spacing was perfect when we had the ball lots of pretty one-touch passing, but always with meaning. Love the several times Chelsea was sagging back thinking we would go forward and we made a quick back-pass for a one-two. Just enough hesitation on that to freeze the defender and then Jay Rodriguez immediately gets past his man. We did it on the goal, but we've done it several other times as well.

    Also really good flow on our counters. Puncheon and Rodriguez was a good call on that. We are pressing but not over-committing. Every Chelsea counter attempt has been snuffed out.

    But the set piece defense?!?

    Always has a strong game when paired up with punch down the right. Its shame we cant fit everyone in the same team! but nice to have strengthen in depth now.
