please log in to view this image Scott Loach is expected to start in goal for Ispwich as first choice keeper, Stephen Henderson was last week recalled by parent club West Ham, bringing a premature end to his second spell at Portman Road this term. Boss Mick McCarthy subsequently brought in former Blackburn keeper Jason Brown on Thursday on a short-term deal until the end of the season who you'll remember played a few games for us whilst on loan a few seasons ago. Striker Frank Nouble is back in contention having missed Ipswich's 1-0 victory over Bolton last time out with a hamstring injury. Winger Lee Martin serves the final game of his three-match suspension for the red card received at Nottingham Forest. Ross McCormack and Steve Morison, meanwhile, are both hoping to return to action. Both players missed the derby defeat to Huddersfield due to injuries sustained in the previous game against Peterborough. McCormack took a blow to the head and Morison was forced off with a calf strain. Habib Habibou made his debut alongside El-Hadji Diouf up front for Leeds against Huddersfield in their absence, but Warnock could be tempted to start with McCormack and Morison if they are fit. Midfield pair Paul Green (Republic of Ireland) and Rudy Austin (Jamaica) are both expected to be in contention following international duty, while defender Tom Lees is likely to resume in the back four after appearing for England Under-21s. Defenders Aidy White and Jason Pearce, plus midfielders Michael Brown and David Norris are pushing for recalls as Leeds bid to keep their fading play-off hopes alive.
My team Kenny Byram Warnock Peltier Lees Green Tonge Norris Hall McCormack or Diouf Morison I can see it being a 2-2 draw
Afternoon Elland. Yours is the side I'd like to see, but I can't see Hall starting unfortunately. I would expect us to win this, but it depends on which Leeds team turns uo; the one who gave Chelsea a game for 70 minutes or the side that struggled in some recent games. 3-1 Leeds
afternoon Boggers, Nothing to play for. Would love to see some youngsters play, and Hall wide on the left
I don't know about nothing to play for. Pride, pressure on those above us, & its still possible (unlikely, but still possible). Would be interesting to see Dawson on the bench, & then given 15 mins at the end.
It seems Brian McDermott is keen on quickly getting back into management, reportedly declaring his interest in the Leeds job. The Yorkshire Evening Post has said that sources close to the former Royals boss have said that he would snatch at the chance to manage at Elland Road. McDermott is currently joined favourite for the vacant post, with odds of 3/1 at Sky Bet. I was expecting Brian to possibly wait and see about the future of Giovanni Trapattoni and the Ireland job, which he has publicly stated he has wanted before. However, if he does take the job, every Reading fan would definitely wish him the best of luck .

Havn't heard from him, so thought I'd better get one up by Saturday lunchtime. Really, a match thread should be up by Thursday evening
Just got to ground, was feeling quite positive till I saw the line up - Varney instead of McCormack? WTF
