OT- battle of the singers- Emeli Sande or Adele?

Who do you think is the best songstress chaps?
I love Adele but can't stop listening to Emeli Sande's album. It is a modern masterpiece.
I think I'd have to go for Emeli just now.

 

Depends, on current form it's Emile Sandé as Adele has gone did a terrible job vocals wise on Skyfall and her last album. Emile Sandé is still using a wide range of her vocal skills where Adele just start shouting and uses her vibrato to compensate way too often nowadays. I still rate Skyfall as one of her worst songs, and I wasn't surprised to learn that she wrote the song in one day and recorded the song in like half an hour.

But if we go on overall career it's Adele because she still delivered on her 19 and 21 album. Emile Sandé is getting there but she will have to deliver another wide range vocal album to surpass Adele.

Sande was terrible live at the Olympics - they must work some magic in her recording studio.

 

I was at Emeli Sande gig last night at The City Hall and she was amazing.
I love them both and couldn't choose one.

 

Hard for me to choose - a bit like nutty or smooth......

I can't stand listening to either, I get bored within about 5 seconds...

 

I'd much rather have a conversation with Sande, than Adele, purely because of how Adele talks. Although Adele seems much more mischieviuousouosuso.
