    Meeeeoooooowwww!!!!!

Poor young lady should be applauded for giving up violence and loosing all that weight. Shame on you Gat. I think I might have gone out with her once. Ideal worker for Homebase though. She can give customers a hand with the sacks of cement into their vans.

Sensible....you matelots always went for the kai tai's so why waste the habit of a lifetime.

Just as well Umbrella Vi isn't around....to get an umbrella surgically removed is a tricky procedure.

<laugh> Respect Milton you know as much about us as many so called fans!! Vi was a legend God bless her it is characters like that which make this game not the prawn sandwich brigade.
As for the matelots preferences best we steer clear of that <whistle>

Absolutely Mex...I've total respect for those character fans. Remember "Noddy"?

I do sort of follow Argyle but I am a Southampton boy so that's where my heart is

Agree re ex-matelots as well....Sensible ignored my jibe about Anquilla....just how many ships did we have there? every matelot I've met claims to have led the advance party storming onto that tiny island, I bet Sensible was there....

It was all a long time ago now milton. I remember saying to Nelson one morning on the poop deck he should steer clear of Trafalgar. I meant because of all the strange men who frequented that place in London but he thought I meant off Spain. The rest is just history.

When I went back to Argyle post Naval days I used to meet up with a work colleague just where Vi used to stand giving it stick with her brolley. Sadly that chap died suddenly and I started going with some others who stood on the opposite side of the ground. Noddy used to run up and down the terraces shouting "Argyo" at the top of his voice. He was a stalwart there and everyone knew him and best of all nobody ever took the mick out of him either. Everyone missed him when he was gone as well.

Funnily enough Milt I was thinking of Noddy when you posted about Vi. Remember years ago when we got back into the old Second Division, think it was our first game, Bradford away and just after the fire, minutes silence before the match was met with a "Noddy hi ho hi ho Noddy" followed by a load of shushes Noddy <doh> Fair play I think even the Bradford fans realized we had brought a "special" fan with us.
One of my defining early memories from HP was a loony stood in the Barn Park wearing a kilt and nothing else when it was raining/sleet, think it was Sunderland, whole of the Lyndhurst gave it the you fat bastard at the start but by the end were cheering him on<ok>

Apologies Sensible I did not realise you were there with Nelson, Drake would have got more janner respect BTW, I always assumed you were older than that.

Sensible's got the woodworm to prove it......some say he used to set a good drum beat on those slave galleons back in Roman days.

    Well written Mex....

Re the guy in the kilt...when I was a nipper, used to go to the Dell and there was one man who always stood out in the crowd which was usually 25,000....he didn't do anything other than have a most unusual coiffured (is that right) hairstyle it was uncanny I could always pick him out (thinking about it maybe it was Sensible on a run ashore from Pompey)

wont write on your forum for a while but well done against Exeter and hope I can join with you all in with mutual survival back-slapping at the end of the season.

    Cheers

    Milt

Just to get back on topic.....the best chant of the day from the Devonport end was "Where's your tranny gone". I did smile.
