Newcastle and France international Yohan Cabaye had some stinging words for the team he’ll face at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

With the game just a day away, the midfielder has given a damning appraisal on City’s role in this season’s title race, stating that Blues are a “team of individuals".

“United are a machine. Sir Alex is doing a fantastic job for the club," Cabaye is quoted as saying in today’s Sun.

“Even when the players change, he knows which player is going to be good for his team.

“City have fantastic players but, unfortunately for them, they don’t think and play as a team — it’s not the same as United. So maybe that’s the difference.

“City are still a fantastic team. But they are a team of individuals."

He's right 100%.
City are a team of individuals and will never be a great team because of that fact.
All the decent City lads I know keep saying that the money has ripped the heart out of the club.

 

This game isn't worth bothering with!!! we too many first team players injured and Citeh have no pressure on them now.

Thats a bit optimistic for you Boa, I was predicting an 8 goal margin of defeat.

 

I know but in all truth I'm most likely right on the button.

I f we had our best team out we might have given them a run for their money if they had a bad day.

 

Its not looking great. I'm pinning my slim hopes on the fact that they've thrown away the title and have nothing to play for, and possibly are pretty demoralised. However they usually raise their game against us for some unknown reason.

 

I had a dream last night that we won 2-1 which worried me a little because all week I've been getting vibes that we'll win 3-1.

Taking all things into consideration and the fact that I also dreamt that I'm going to win tonight's lottery, it would be churlish not to have a modest punt on a Toon win.

 

Let us know if you win the lottery Jimmy, in which case I'll bet on a Toon win.
Otherwise, my assumption will be a defeat by at least two goals.

Can't see us getting much from this one, we need to be careful early doors as we can't afford a big defeat as it could dent morale taking us forward.
