Hitting the post is a case of players not hitting the target, it's just a close miss. Defenders blocking shots on the line is a combination of players again not finishing and/or well positioned defenders. If you re-read my post you'll notice I said in the 'other 5', as in reference to the 5 games they've win in their 6 game running streak that weren't us. I also saw the full game at the KC. Barcelona have won 4 and lost 2 of their last 6. Forest have won 6, lost none of their last 6. If Forest aren't in immense form then Barca certainly are not.
If Forest had the fixtures Barca had, they'd have got nil pois. Barca's two losses were to AC Milan and Real Madrid as well, not exactly the easiest of teams? (even though they then beat Milan 4-0...)
Yes ... and ... That's not how form works is it. That'd be like saying North Ferriby aren't in better form than Leicester, when they clearly are.
Winning six in six is better form than winning four in six, who the team is and who they played is irrelevant.
What about if barnsley had just got 6 draws out of 6 against Barca, Man U, Real, Man City, Chelski and Juventus. And Bayern Munich just got 5 draws against Grimsby, Stockport, Nuneaton, Wrexham, Luton and a win against Gateshead? Who would you say is in the better form?
Borussia Moenchegladbach. What a toss argument. Forest have won six on the trot, they can't have been lucky in all of those. And we all know how unpredictable thks league is...there are no easy games as we must know better than anyone else (Sheff Wed, Peterboro...). Dunno why people are trying to belittle Forest....they are doing what we did in 2008. Hopefully it's all irrelevant to us anyway as we have a great chance of grabbing second now.
I just thought Forest were awful against us and deserved **** all. Anti football as bad as that is horrendous and deserves nowt but relegation. **** team. Next?
Results could not have gone any better for us yesterday, need to make it count today with a win at Huddersfield. 4 clear of Watford and 6 clear of Palace would be massive at this stage.
