So then, the 'bonfire' song about Rio and Anton is somehow racist, but responding to being criticised on Twitter by calling a poster a 'coconut' isn't?

Does this arsehole just make up what is and isn't racist because of his own skin colour? And Ouseley is in on the act too - the man who defended Rio calling Cole a 'choc-ice'.

Got to give the "anti-racist", self-appointed guardians of racial harmony their due - they're consistently inconsistent.

And another thing, how can Powar and Ouseley infer racist intent in the 'bonfire' song, simply because it mentions Anton, but when Evra was caught on camera telling Suarez to "**** your whore sister" in Spanish it is waffled away as an 'exclaimation"?

Yeah, Rio, all the English fans are so racist that they jeered you, but felt that Johnson, Cole and Welbeck weren't black enough to be abused, so left them alone.

Seriously, they abused you because you're a twat. That's it. **** off twitter with your useless, fictional, ****-stiring commentary.

    Can't stand that prick.

Whether there was "racist" intent or not you'd have to ask those singing. I found Holts article hilarious in its hypocrisy.

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/england-sickening-chants-against-rio-1786627

One sentence where he has to admit its a united song and the England fans merely switched out "Scousers" and then an entire article talking about his favourite topic of racism.

Did he not see the irony in his casual acceptance of Scousers being thrown on a bonfire or at least not bothered enough to write an article about it.

So we continue with our society splitting hairs. Apparently throwing a black man on a fire is wrong: that's reasonable enough. But its ok to throw a man on a fire based purely on where he was born. Now is that just white Scousers. Do black Scousers get fire immunity as well Oliver?

Lol, to be honest neither could I G, England fans singing unpleasant songs about their own players (or ex)

I just find the medias attempts at painting English football back to the eighties rather sad.

  10. Although I don't condone abusive singing at all never mind about one of your own players, I can't help but think Rio deserved it too.

PS...I didn't hear anything racist and I trust my ears more than the media.

The chanting wasn't racist but the motivation behind incorporating Anton Ferdinand into the chant certainly was. England fans singing about an English player who has never played for the national team? Odd. Unprecedented?

Also, has there been any abusive chanting about Terry since he quit international football because the FA refused to condone his racial abuse of an opponent?

    Do you disagree?

  16. I actually prefer Rio to Terry but John never claimed to be available for England only to reject the chance when it arrived. A bullshit reason just adds insult to injury!

Can't say I heard anything about Anton either to be honest but since that's the main thing coming out of this...

PS...letting club loyalty get in the way NOF? Or you just wumming? I hear you think I'm the new Ze <laugh>

Anton was incorporated into the build a bonfire chant which is odd as he's never played for England. As I'm not a QPR fan I don't see how my club loyalty is an issue here? For me it's more about people putting club loyalty ahead of condemning racism. The fact is Anton Ferdinand is disliked by some because he took offence to being called a black something or other by John Terry.

You could never be as much of a tool as Ze, at least I hope not!

  18. I meant club loyalty with your defence of Rio since you was responding to my comment regarding Rio. Fair enough on the rest though, as I said above, I don't condone abusive signing at all never mind against your own (potential) players <ok>

Not sure if I should take the last bit as a compliment or not

I dislike Anton because he comes across as a bit of a tosser - and I can't stand Terry, so it's not like I'm taking sides here.

I won't pretend to know why the fans said Anton's name in any chants, but I would highly doubt that it was because they were racist. Did they just happen to have blindfolds on when Johnson, Welbeck or Cole ran past? People aren't partially racist, they are or they aren't. If they are, all black/chinese/whatever players get the same treatment, not just two. Anton, is more than likely just associated with Rio - being brothers and all - and well, if you're gonna hurl abuse at one, might as well get the other. Or maybe the travelling fans were largely Chelsea based fans. Who knows. Point is, I hardly think it was racially orientated

The Ferdinands are twats, Rio's instant claims of racism followed by, oh wait, lets wait and see first, don't help their cause.
