Apparently we are after both Maynor Figueroa and Hugo Rodallega according to the NOTW and could get them for as little as 8m if they get relagated today.

Figueroa is out of contract aswell next summer so he will be available for a canny low price.

Would be 2good aditions IMO but the main man surely has to be Charles N'Zogbia.

Would be decent additions and as you say wouldn't cost a lot, but would they be automatic first choices or just to add strength in depth?

I would think they would go straight into the side

yeah, not too sure about Roddy though as a partner for Gyan though, but I reckon Figgy should do ok at left back, (god knows we've really needed one for a while) and to be fair there's not many left backs around at the moment.

Rodallega doesnt set the world alight so possibly a squad player. Better back up than we currently have tho

True, I haven't seen him too much to form an opinion on him but I know he isn't too prolific for wigan and from what I remember of him isn't he a bit like gyan, where he needs someone to play off him to be effective?

I rarely watch Wigan but I am sure they play him as the lone forward with N'Zogbia getting closest to him and being the support guy, would be a good signing you cannot have to many good players in your squad as we should know now if we didn't before.

That statement should be carved in stone above the managers door, with the word good in big bold letters.

I'd be happy to see them both sign. I like Rodallega because he's a strong guy who can cause defenders problems. It's not always about scoring goals playing up front, if it was then Emile Heskey would only have played 6 matches in his whole career!

Has emile played that many? Sitting on your arse for 80 minutes each game doesnt constitute being a footballer imo.

Figeroua is ****e, why the constant clamour for us to sing a ****e player?

Warnock, Ziegler and even Konchesky are better players.

    Not keen then MM?
With you on this one mind not as good as some think but, would be a decent squad player. Same goes for Rodellega just doesn't score enough and has been in PL for a few years now.

He can't defend, and he ain't great going forward, he scores one goal from halfway and he's some kind of legend? NO.

Rodallega is a good player, but like you say, not a natural goalscorer.

He's a good finisher, but he doesn't get himself in the right positions often enough.

Agreed mate, why do we always look at the crap teams who are in the relegation fight for our next players? These teams are down there because their players aren't up to it so what makes everyone think they'll do well with us? We should be looking at the teams around and above us if anything.

    Exactly mate.

Dare i say Keane had the right idea raiding Spurs?

You do get good players in poor sides, but they are in the minority.

dont think we will get Kranjcar his dad is his agent and he has spoken quite often lately of a move to either Germany or Intaly

as for the other 4 snap them up and bring in another 4 or 5 seeing as Brucie rekons we need 9 or so

Pay them and they well might come. I reckon Krankjar for example, playerd in the prem for a few years, likes the culture etc, would stay in the prem if the money was right. I would do what I could to sign him. Samba, looks like he's going on to better things, so it will be difficult to get him, now, although again, if they money is right you never know. Larsson is free so no doubt we'll be in for him. I actually like Roddy from WIgan. Figeuroa, I'm not so fussed about, but I don't watch him week in week out. I wouldn't mind Tommy Sorensen returning for GK back up and even Super Kev on a years deal add some quality experience to the squad. Although like everyone else I want the big marquee signings.
