"The madness in privacy laws" What a complete load of nonsense. It actually translates as "We're upset because we cannot print rag-selling stories that compromise a players privacy"
Completely agree. What are the odds on the "special report" concluding that privacy laws are bad because the restrict they freedom of the press to dig up dirt and sell more tabloids? The picture itself is pretty funny, but I think it would have had more impact if they'd dared to print it a month ago! That said, they're still playing with fire a wee bit given how quickly Bryan's lawyers went after Twitter. If the Scottish Herald is sold south of the border at all, they could be in for a mighty great wrist slapping...
I think the world would be a much better place if they paid more attention to stories about famine, war and disease, and less attention to who's been sleeping with who. But then what would we banter about on internet forums?
To be honest if Giggs would have let them print the story this would all be old news by now and it wouldn't gather as much attention as it is now. Nonetheless you are right about the fact that other things are way more important than this. The world is corrupt and many people would be shocked should they get to know what's going on behind the scenes in the world politics.
True, but like I said in the other thread, the story would be old news after the media had camped outside his house for a few weeks, published any pictures of his wife and kids they could find, and dragged up as much dirt as they could find. Just look at what happened to Terry's family last year, and you can see why he's so keen to keep the press under control. Maybe by the time the injunction is finally lifted, no one will care any more and Giggs' family won't be subjected to that kind of abuse.
You're right about that. But if Giggs didn't want it to come out , he shouldn't have ****ed Imogen in the first place You know you'll definitely be in the news if you do and there is no way it won't come out. The media probably feels that Giggs shouldn't get preferential treatment just because he's Giggs.
Exactly it should be the same for all unfortunately there are those that think because he wears a red shirt that shouldn't be so! How sad?
Which United fan has said Giggs shouldn't be reported because he plays for us? Stop making things up I personally find it sad that people get so excited over any footballer's personal life...
