    Fair enough, but the non playing staff will still have earned their bonus whether we win or not.

    I agree with this, and who said he wouldn't give them a bonus anyway...But let's say its your last day of work before you go on holiday, you really can't be arsed, but your boss comes to you and says, look, if you work really hard and reach this specific target, i'll take everyone out tonight and buy them a few pints! You'd be inclined to work harder!

    What's investing properly? Throwing money around buying every big name player we can? Or buying young players who can progress through the academy system at a relatively similar time and play as a unit (something they'd hav been doing for years)...Pretty sure if you look at all the really successful Manure, Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool squads of recent years, its been academy lads/players who've been there for yeas who've been at the forefront!

    In a few years time we could well have a team consisting of Krul, Kadar, Simpson, Taylor (old experienced defender) Tavs, Ferguson, Vuckic, Ranger and Airey! That's what GOOD investment gets you!

    A lot of the players will be good friends with the non-playing staff. This will give them a big incentive for their friends, and in the meantime sending us home happy at the end of the season, which could also mean that we end up in the top half which imo will make it a lot easier to sign players.
