as they strove to protect innocent members of the public on the streets of Glasgow whose innocent Saturday shopping expeditions were in danger of being turned into terror by these terrorist supporting Celtic fans.

"However, the truth of the matter is, that by aligning itself with the Green Brigade, a secretive organisation which clothes itself in IRA style uniforms and seeks to bring the same sort of Fascist terror to the streets of Glasgow which the hard line racist bigots of the Ultras, who they seek to emulate, pollute Europe with, the Herald has placed itself in a dangerous position."

" At the moment it looks as though Llewellyn is allowing his paper to hurtle out of his control towards a dangerous precipice by allowing it to apparently slant its reporting towards defending those who seek to bring lawlessness to the streets of Glasgow and attack those whose job it is to preserve the peace."

    And breathe.

    That's pretty impressive.

We should have an impressions thread.

[h=2]Friday, 22 March 2013[/h][h=3]POLICE MAY MAKE MORE GREEN BRIGADE ARRESTS[/h]

POLICE are going through the extensive surveillance footage they shot at the Green Brigade’s failed attempt to hold an illegal march, freeze-frame by freeze-frame in an bid to identify the ring leaders.

There have already been 13 arrests made and there may be more to come if the high definition film taken of the Green Brigade shows anyone else breaking the law.

And that could even include the QCs and any other independent legal advisors who it has been claimed were at the scene of Green Brigade’s pre-planned efforts to break the law.

A number of people, including Labour MSP Michael McMahon on the floor of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, have made that claim and it is one which Strathclyde Police are taking seriously.

For if they identify any QC, any Advocate or any lawyer at the scene of the crime, then those legal eagles may well need a lawyer to represent them.

For the Police would be well within their rights to question them as to what they knew about the Green Brigade’s intentions. And if police feel there is sufficient evidence to support a belief that any QC, Advocate or lawyer was in possession of any information about any pre-planned lawbreaking by the Green Brigade, the Crown Office and the Procurator Fiscal’s office will take a dim view.

For QCs, Advocates and lawyers are all Officers of the Court and as such have a duty to report any such knowledge to the Police.

If they knew and did not tell the police then at it will, at best, lead to the QCs and Advocates being reported to the Faculty of Advocates, with lawyers facing disciplinary action from the Law Society of Scotland.

And if, for instance, there was any lawyer at the Green Brigade’s illegal attempt to march, who can only practice law under the direct supervision of the Law Society of Scotland, that lawyer would be in breach of that condition and be in danger of being disbarred.

Of course we do not know whether or not there were any QCs, Advocates or lawyers, including any who can only practice under the direct supervision of the Law Society of Scotland, on the spot at Glasgow Cross, in the Gallowgate and near the Barras when the IRA supporting Fascist Ultras of the Green Brigade attempted to take to the streets in defiance of the law and bring terror to innocent shoppers in a popular Saturday afternoon shopping area.

But it is something which has been claimed by Labour MSP Michael McMahon.

And one QC who has expressed his views, in defence of the Green Brigade, including making what many believe were some snide remarks about Frank Mullholland, the Lord Advocate, is Brian McConnachie QC. Which in no way implies, far less proves, he was at the scene of the crimes. or had any prior knowledge those crimes were about to be committed and, as an officer of the court, did not pass such information onto the Police. <laugh>

Nor is there any suggestion that any lawyers from the two legal firms who have been quoted with regard to their representation of those Green Brigade members charged, were there or knew what was going to happen. These include Paul Mullen of Livingstone Brown, or anyone from Gildeas Solicitors.

However, if there were any QCs, Advocates or lawyers in the Glasgow Cross, Gallowgate and the Barras vicinity when the Green Brigade kicked off, then the police surveillance footage will soon indentify them.

LAWWELL AND CELTIC AXIS TO KEEP CONTROL AND SPL TO STAY

PETER LAWWELL'S Scottish Premier League lackeys have held a meeting at which there were talks as to just how they plan to crush, demolish and splatter the Scottish Football League.

And after my exclusive ramblings yesterday that half the Scottish Football League clubs are buying into the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis scheme, there are now real fears that the dozen SFL outfits the SPL need to form an SPL Two are about to jump ship. That would lead to the biggest and most acrimonious split in Scottish football's history.

And lead to those who are falling for the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis bribes being branded as both traitors and mugs and galactophagists for signing up to a contract which has not even been drawn up yet.

For the SPL men who are dancing to Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell's tune, have been going over the umpteenth draft of the new set up's constitution and its standing orders.

My information which no one else has seen or heard is that the constitution and standing orders have now been written and re-written so many times that they will be well in to double figures before a final draft is approved.

But one thing which will be in that final draft for certain and has been leaked to me from a cleaner inside Hampden, is that there will be no
appreciable difference in the make-up of the Board of any new set-up to the one which has presided over the SPL's current crisis.

Which leads some to believe that SPL calls for a merger are bogus and what the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis really want is for enough SFL clubs to jump ship to make any merger irrelevant.

However, the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis fall- back position is that if there is any new top flight Board, it will rule the roost over, in particular the top two tables of 12, and will be handpicked by Peter Lawwell's SPL puppet and possible lover, Neil Doncaster, who will remain as chief hied yin.

And get an rise from his current mind boggling £200,000-a-year salary. Can't believe I wrote 'an rise'. That'll be the drink again.

It is also believed that new Celtic company secretary Michael O'Flaherty Nicholson, a former senior partner at Celtic and the SPL's lawyers, Harper MacLeod, will have a seat on the new Board as its legal attack dog.

Another Lawwell pal, possible lover and attack dog, Hibernian's Rod Petrie will be on the Board, with Rangers-hating Dundee United's Stephen Thompson and Ian Durrant-hating Aberdeen's Duncan Fraser, two more members of the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis also named as directors.

But there would be no place on any new set-up's Board of Directors for my favouritist person in the world and Scottish Football League chief executive David Longmuir or the SFL president, Jim Ballantyne.

In fact, rather than a merger of the SPL's 12 clubs with the SFL's 30, what is being planned is no more than a takeover of the Scottish Football League by the Peter Lawwell-Neil Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis.

And a evil, monstrous hostile one, at that!

Far from being a break from the SPL's shameful, disgusting and shameful legacy of hostility, bigotry, anger, bitterness, churlishness and hatred towards Rangers, the Scottish Premier League will live on as a legal entity. For the same company name will remain, with new shares in the existing SPL company given to any Scottish Football League clubs daft enough to believe the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis promises and sign up.

It seems as though the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis are offering the SFL Hobson's choice. Either sign up to what we are offering or we will entice a dozen of your more short sighted clubs to jump ship.

How do you spell stitch-up? S-T-I-T-C-H-U-P

The Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis is playing on the financial fears of many SFL clubs, heightened by Rangers dying and Dunfermline's collapse, to create a climate of terror, alarm, anxiety, dread and fear which it is hoped will split the SFL and scupper any bargaining power.

They are banking on enough SFL clubs breaking ranks and plunging into the unknown, on the basis of promises being made to them by the totally discredited, secretive and possibly evil Peter Lawwell-Neil Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis.

While the truth is that in the medium term, never mind the long term or the short term, the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis plans are a recipe for disaster for any SFL club which signs up.

For nobody at the SFL has had any sight of any SPL commercial or media contracts, including the all important and so secret deal with Sky. If such a Sky deal actually exists. I like Sky. Much nicer than ESPN who make up blatant lies about Rangers fans singing bad songs.

So nobody knows just where the money promised by the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis is coming from. The SFL clubs are being asked to take the promises on trust and not hard evidence much like the fans who bought shares in my lover potential lover Charles Green's New Rangers.

I have also been told by my reflection that it looks as though on almost every point the SFL is being ambushed, with the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis looking as though it is trying to steamroller things through, at the same time as unpicking promises previously made.

Among the clubs who it looks as though the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis are playing like harmoniums to tempt into quitting the SFL are Hamilton Accies, Partick Thistle and Morton. The Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis look as though they are targeting these clubs and others, because they are desperate for cash.

Cash which the Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis promises, without ever producing any contractual evidence to support their pledge of being able to deliver.

The Hamiltons, Thistles and Mortons of the SFL should beware they are not being stampeded into an ambush. One which could trap them for at least three years. For as I revealed here on Thursday, part of the new SPL deal is that nobody will be able to even start talks about escaping from any Lawwell-Doncaster-Darth Maul-SPL Axis for three years.

When a new set up involving the SPL and SFL was first mooted I warned that there was no way Celtic and Peter Lawwell would give up the power they have. Both Lawwell and Celtic are evil and are set on total world domination.

Now, with the help of the SPL's hapless, hexed and square-headed £200,000-a-year, with more to come, chief executive Neil Doncaster, plus the Lawwell lackeys and toadies, Rod Petrie from Hibs, Stephen Thompson from Dundee United and Celtic daft Aberdeen managing director Duncan Fraser, it looks as though Lawwell and Celtic will be getting their way, one way or the other.

With either an SPL Two, which will leave the SFL as powerless rump, or a crushing takeover of the SFL, posing as a merger, resulting in power remaining with the same evil and nefarious Celtic cabal.

But once again, do not look for the Daily Record to dig deep into this murky carve up. They didn't do anything while Murray and Whyte killed Rangers after all. For that would go against the wishes of Peter Lawwell, whose Celtic are business partners of the Record.

    .....
    AND.....

JUST a wee reminder of what promises to be a spectacular night at Ibrox on Friday 19th April. It is a dinner in the Thornton Suite in honour of the Oldest Living Ranger, Iron Curtain and 1949 Treble winning legend, keeper Bobby Brown, who has just celebrated his 90th birthday.

Bobby will be the guest of honour and among the other great names from the past who will be there are Johnny Hubbard, like Bobby one of the last links with the Bill Struth era, Davy Wilson from the Scot Symon 1964 Treble team and Tam Forsyth from Jock Wallaces' Treble teams of 76 and 78. I'm sure the murder of William Wilton will prove a popular topic and it's one I'm looking forward to hearing about.

Tickets, just £35 for a three course dinner plus coffee - or book a table for 10 - are available from

    ********@googlemail.com

Please include a daytime and evening telephone number.

I will be chairing the night and will be donating a copy of my book, Great Scot, The James Scotland Symon Story as a raffle prize. I'm a funny and entertaining entertainer. Just ask Tam Cowan.

His writing style is a bit different to normal, more self concious - is he sober when writing this article?
