    As a matter of interest, I would much prefer to eat a Grey Mullet than Salmon, unless the Salmon was wild and not farmed.

    We have already eaten our Good Friday Haddock and Chips, being many hours in front of your good selves.

    We go to Chumley Warners down on Brisbanes Southside, who serve a fantastic haddock, mushy peas, curry sauce chips and so much more, well worth the ridiculous prices we have to pay.......

    APM, it's on the A629 road into Hudds. Easy way from the light railway (which is really good by the way) is to stay on the main Denby Dale Rd, A636 through Denby Dale to the junction with A629 (by the Sovereign pub) then swing a right towards Hudds and about a mile you'll see it on the left. Cracking little food pub and only 10mins from the railway.

    APM, other than that on the way out from jct 39 on the A636 towards Denby Dale (about half a mile from the motorway jct) you'll go past a pub called The British Oak on the left, that's decent too.

    Mrs Bob is off to spend the day with the in laws.

    Bob is off down his mates farm to shoot some bods. Hopefully a few bunny wabbits and a chicken or two as well.

    Morning Chaz,

    I returned home to Hull last night with the family. Will be indulging with traditional lunch with me Mam this afternoon. We will be using that fine fish shop on Sutton Park parade.

    Anyone fancy a pint in Jar?

    <cheers>

    Ye it did used to be a decent chippy. Not been in Jar for years, not sure if im still banned. The new landlord's a City fan, i hear he's ok not like the old bag who used to run it.
    Someone put a notice in the HDM when she retired, "Ding dong the witch of Jar in Hand is dead"

    APM, the British Oak is much more child friendly but the C&S is still ok for kids.
