I think it's TWF in disguise trying to stop everyone hating him by making up a character that's an even bigger ****. ;)

(You know I'm joking TWF, I'm one of the ones that defends your valid points remember)

EDIT: And I'd not seen the other thread, but heyho.

Would the resindents of Hull who are city supporters support this move. Obviously they would have no vote if this matter went to a referendum of East Yorkshire voters. I would not expect it to go to referendum, I would expect a decision would be made on their behalf. I also think the chance of a referendum in Hull is receding.

Most popular site on here, can't help it if you or anybody wants to join in the City chat.

Most likely though, if he's only posted on here, and not on yours, then with a name like that i'm guessing he's trying wind us all up. Probably that Jamie1919 kid from the old BBC messageboards.

Not even the most popular team on not606 who play in stripey shirts with black on them.

Whoever he is, he's welcome onto the Leeds board any time. I just get the feeling somehow that he feels more at home here with rod firmly in hand.

Why do you want to comment on a team that has nothing to do with you?

You keep mentioning immigrants. I assume you're an immigrant to East Yorkshire. Otherwise Leeds wouldn't be your team, would it, there being only one league club in East Yorkshire?

Leeds United is not only a Yorkshire-wide club, it's a nationwide club. Get over it.

So they've fans who are the same as the despised Man Utd fans from Surrey? Phoneys who have no idea about what supporting a football club is really about.

A pity not many from Leeds itself seem too concerned. Good to see the crowd at the game in the Peter Swan article- 10,000. Marching on Together?????

East Riding residents would not be affected by their football club buying it's own stadium and providing some of the best sporting facilities in Britain for their use?

I suppose we're international to some extent (still got fan clubs in Ireland, Scandinavia, Aus, America and the Far East), but we're not a global club like Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have become with their constant TV exposure. If we don't get back into the Premiership soon, our international reputation will plummet.

Everyone's crowds were ****e in the 1980s and it's widely accepted that most boards lied about their attendances to pay less tax. Arsenal sometimes recorded crowds of 9,000 back then, Chelsea and Nottm Forest recorded similar. And yes we have fans who don't go to games, every club does. Their geographical location has no relevance - I'm sure you could go down to central Hull and find a fan as clueless as a Johnny-come-lately Man U fan from Essex. Then again, you get fans who follow Leeds from immense distances whose loyalty you can't dispute. Hull have a Swedish fan on here, don't you? Are he and his ilk "phoney" and "clueless"?
