Would anyone want to roll the clock back? Sure, I could want to do it at many points - selling Sir Les, anything in the build up to the playoff final, Holloway's abysmal treatment, Swansea first or second game, Villa 45 mins in. What do we gain by any of it? We might be better off or it might cause a chain of events for the worse. Even if it's for the better, would you swap the life and experience that puts us where we are now? The anticipation of what may happen and how we deal with the adversity thrown at us make us who we are. They give us all those "Do you remember" and "I was there" moments that make us who we are. Strange how 'Life On Mars' was such a popular series when it was first aired, the thought of travelling back to 1973 really struck a chord with people of my generation, I was 19 at that time and it was a great time in comparison with now. And the Rs were a fantastic team in the making...
