Adomah has admitted himself that he is not the most disciplined player but has said he is willing to play anywhere, RM, CF, RB or even GK just so long as he starts. So he has the desire and passion some have doubted him for in recent weeks (I don't know why). He played behind Davies against Middlesbrough and scored, Didn't have a bad game too, Then was dropped for the Wolves game. Anderson should start on the right but would you take Elliott, Kelly or Skuse out of the team to make room for Adomah to support Davies upfront. I would, Don't think we have much of a choice, We have to go for it. We need the win more than any other team in this league, If we do pick up 3 points then we can go into the Sheff Wed game knowing a win can take us out, Much like the Coventry game last year. http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Bris...tory-18512081-detail/story.html#axzz2OjdY1pMk
i think balance is the name of the game and at the moment we do have a bit of that. Should he start then I think we need to go with 2 wingers and 1 up front, thats 5 across the middle or 1 2 1 2 4 now that really would confuse the oppo...as I am sure it does you...lol
I thought Elliott/Skuse/Kelly did well in midfield (certainly from a defensive point of view) - also Fonts and Nyatanga did well DOn't forget we were 15 minutes from winning
True Shiny - my point was that Albert was particularily poor and his performances for most of the season have not been up to the standards he set in the last 2 years
This season he has been hot and cold, But when he's hot you want him in the team as he will win you the game. I don't think his best position is behind the striker as he always ends up back on the right, Forcing Anderson into the middle and then it exposes a gap as Adomah isn't as good at tracking back, More pressure on Moloney. He's a risk but can win you the match on his day. Catch 22.
Albert on form is fantastic to watch, but as its been pointed out to death on here. He is ****e at defending, Anderson offers more to his game than Albert. In this position we need players who will track back and help. I liked it when we played I think Forest with Baldock towards the right and Anderson floating around Davies and Baldock. We have mentioned why Del never played Anderson and I think it was SoD who was partly forced by Albert's ACON disappearance used Anderson more. Makes you wonder if Anderson was bought incase the rumours came of something and Albert moved on last summer. Anderson one side and Bolasie (who was also better at tracking back) would of been a good set up. Tough one but for me it's Anderson over Albert for the remainder of the season, just to drop back when teams come at us like Wolves did.
Would rather see Anderson playing in the hole, If that its what Sean is going for tonight. Lets hope it pays off, We have certainly plated the team to go for the win.
