Vey much a Williams stand v a end. Observation there is expecting vocal fans go to the bottom isn't logical. Acoustics will be poor and they dont do it elsewhere and have not at BCFC in decades. The williams was never the stand for vocal support apart from a time when a section was taken over by hooligans in the eighties. Vocal support should go at the back like it does in the kop or at wolves and does in the EE. This is boxes for the rich, seats for families, and an area for ??? You can see what the idea is but that is not how things work and already have not.
Seems that the club are desperate to get boxes into the ground anywhere they can. Problem with that is it destroys what many fans will want. That safe standing area is for rugby fans till the law changes. An added cost. Fans in ends elsewhere boss their stands, that is cut into three and the boxes get top show. Scratching my head at that. As a EE season ticket holder now I think other stands will be a better shout.
Lose the boxes, place the safe standing area above ... Actually scrap it. Simply makes little sense. All you can see are reasons many fans in there now will go elsewhere if is built. Thanks for your support boys you can go on the bottom as its time for boxes and whatever the second section is for!!
I think it is a bit sad. I can remember an Eastend with ten thousand plus in it. Wheres the pride in that silly little enclosure?
I think it is bizarre that fans are having to knock together their own images in what is a "consultation" process.
Talk now of the planned "Wedlock" pub for a re-developed "Wedlock" being a sports bar. Boxes for rugby types, safe standing area for rugby types, sports bar for rugby types. Seems the hooray henrys have a bigger shout than City fans do.
