    Great film.

Based on Do androids dream of electric sheep? by Philip K Dick.

Not impressed that they are doing a sequel though (or is it a prequel).

    Didn't know that.

Apparently Spike Lee's directing the remake of Old Boy. God help me <doh>

Certain films should be left alone as one offs and not be either remade or sequelised or prequelised (I realise they are more than not likely words).

Honest To God, there are loads of them.

    The Italian Job
    Alfie
Cape Fear (forgotten the original title with Robert Mitchum)
    The Alien sequels and prequels

    Spoils the memories.

I'm surprised they haven't done a remake of Casablanca or Citizen Kane.

They remade Psycho with Vince Vaughan.

That surely has to be against the law?

The book is ****e, entirely boring and mostly about a robotic ostrich <doh>

The best bit of the film, Rutger Hauer's monologue at the end was ad-libbed by the man himself.

Seen Old Boy recently. It was pish. The 'twist' was obvious the minute they met.

Come on. He meets a young lassie who happens to be the right age and she somehow goes for him? Guessed it right there and then at the sushi bar.

A bit of a myth, Hauer wrote a small part of his dialogue but not all.
