I think if we go down, he'll go there. Not so sure if we stay up though.

If we go down then they can have him. As dreadful a situation Hughes left us in, Harry had enough time to turn it around so it will be mission failed as far as I'm concerned.

Not like you to be critical of someone (anyone!) connected to the club.

And you lads don't ask enough. You might be fine with the Club going down despite all the investment but to me it'll be an abject failure.

I thought Churchill's pups would have higher standards than that? ;)

That may well end up happening, Betty and I'd welcome it because as sh*te as his football is, he'll get you up. We didn't complain too much with COLIN's hack-ball team because it did the business.

No-one's fine with the club going down but the damage was done not sacking Hughes after the West Ham game, that would've been enough time to turn things round although the lack of strikers was always going to have us up against it...

I agree that Hughes carries about 80% of the blame. However, Harry had a massive 25 games but it looks like he'll come up short. That's a failure as far as I'm concerned. And to be honest, I think a Manager of such standards as Harry would probably agree.

What more do you think he could have done with the squad he inherited? We were toothless and he had to stop the goals going in, hence the defensive set-up against stronger teams, if we'd gone for it we'd probably have lost against Chelsea, Spurs and Man City, those five points might just be the difference in the end. If we don't beat Fulham and Wigan then I think we're down...

You're right that the squad couldn't possibly have been any worse. And to be honest Soopy, I don't know what more the man could have done. So maybe I'm being very harsh here.

I just thought when he took over that with 25 games, old 'Arry Houdini could do it. But considering what he was given to work with, it probably was asking too much now that I think about it.

I think someone worked out that if we'd started the season from when Harry took over we'd be mid table now. I'm sure someone can look it up?

As an outsider, in terms of tactics Hughes is 100% to blame but I don't necessarily think he is to blame for the personnel brought in. I'd be very surprised of Hughes said "Go out and get me that Ji Sung Park/Bosingwa" etc. My personal opinion is that some of the signings went above him.

I feel the QPR board should have acted after the 1-1 draw with Reading.

That said there is no way the club is doomed given Sunderland's plight and the excellent recent performances. QPR more than capable of winning at Fulham and if that happens the great escape is well and truly on.

Just noted that Fulham are 4th in the current form table, so it will be a real result if we beat them...

I think it's possible, I really do. A draw wouldn't be the end of the world, but that would put intolerable pressure on the Wigan game. It will be interesting to see what team/formation Harry plays.
