A bit too late to apologise Vettel. There goes his opportunity to go to Ferrari. Luca will never let a selfish driver join his team.
erm........... based on history of previous drivers that is one bold statement Schuey <cough> Alonso <cough>
Problem with the Hamilton-Rosberg team orders was that it was so pointless. Favoritism for the sake of it rather than any gain.
Webber is fast enough to be awkward to Vettel in future races, Horner needs to get on top of this to stop them from sabotaging each other!
I think that's harsh. I think the situation was meant to be that they could race until the last stops were out of the way, then they were both to turn down the engines and manage the gaps to the Mercs to the finish. Webber did, Vettel didn't.
Ya, now imagine what Alonso would have done. Don't think he would have stay put behind Massa in the same situation.
Erm..... it does exactly the same as what team orders do for first and second. It stops teammates racing each other and banks points.
Tell me about it, whilst he didn't score any points the winner from this race could be Alonso, Webber not giving an inch from now on and taking points off Vettel won't go a miss.
I think (and hope) that Rosberg is just peeved with the situation rather than at the team or Hamilton specifically.
Vettel has already done that, Turkey 2009 comes to mind. But people tend to forget that. And Webber has shown in the past that he ignores team orders.
I was referring to the fact that Webber ignored team orders in Silverstone 2011 and then copped a strop today when Vettel did the same thing. And where's the evidence that Webber turned his engine down? He looked pretty quick to me. And where's the evidence that they were allowed to race until the first stops? Rocky was on the radio to Seb in the second and third stints telling him to be patient and maintain a three second gap to save the tyres. Be patient, be patient, be patient, maintain the gap. Seb was right to ignore it. Everyone's laying into him but any driver with an ounce of ambition would've done the same. Webber's done it. Button even did it in Turkey 2010.
