    Top post project ! <ok>

Dilli- are you related to dylan by any chance ? ...<laugh>

May be worth checking the family tree, especially if you enjoy life in the uplands or around that area! <cheers>

It has already been agreed that when we do a film version of "The Swans Trip to Wembley" Dilli would be played by Dylan Thomas <laugh>

Pretty good views from the top of the racecourse in Penlan - see old rivalries die hard! Had a couple of girl friends up in Townhill - it was a bloody tough walk after the Rank on a Saturday.
Seen lots of places around the world - get out to Vancouver which is spectacular- very often - but when my wife and kids (all Canadian) come over to Wales they love it - they love the Gower - I've taken them along that road at the front of Townhill just up by the Heathfield/Heatchcliffe - they always take photos. Then we drive out to Carmarthen and up though mid wales to North wales and they just love the countryside all they way. My wife thinks the people are so helpful and friendly - don't know what she'd make of that thread!!!

Beautiful photos and the view is stunning standing there. You can take in the whole town in a snapshot.

Thank you Ash. Haven't made any insulting comments, made a simple comparison between an area in the Valleys and an area in Swansea.

    "
So its okay then for Norway to insult the Valleys then is it or is that just forgotten by everyone else?" - valley grad.

Lets get a few things straight here is it ??

You got involved in the personal stuff and got egg on your face, you didnt measure your response correctly, its no good being a Swansea Fan and a Swansea MOD and then slag off Swansea and Townhill !! Swansea fans dont tend to dis their own city mate, especially when teaming up with a known bluebird thug who is proud of the apparent beatings he dished out to Jacks in the past ! fine if you wanted to stick up for Aberdare, but there was a line to walk on being a Swans fan .

my comments were directed towards Aber because he was being a dick on here and needed dropping down a peg or two, you decided to get involved and stick up for "the Valleys" so i decided to take you up on the fun and string you BOTH along. Aber then decided to get personal and start with the usual threats"say that to my face,i'll **** you" calling me a ****** etc, etc. you stood by and did nothing .

I had no problem with those insults, i didnt complain to any MOD about them, you were there taking part and didnt moderate or step in, i wasnt going to be the boy that cried Wolf as it was no problem for me to put him firmly in his place, things carried on getting personal with you,Aber and myself then Aber decideds to lower the tone even further by mocking 70 dead kids shot by Anders Breivik in Norway, something that didnt offend me personally but something that i thought was totally un called for and served no purpose other than to show the guy up for what he was.

Point is we were all to blame for the stuff on there, me for winding up Aber, you for sticking by him and not Moderating and Aber for losing the plot and resorting to bad language, threats and sick comments !

in valley grads defence he said he didnt see those comments RE Breivik and i beleive him, he then took the correct action and got involved, so fair play to him for that <ok>

"still there was no moderation" was a typo Musty, ive edited the bottom part of my post now!

I have no MOD issues what so ever, as far as im concerned you all do a great job, nobody can be expected to Police the forum 24/7 so im not annoyed with any of the MODS at all. **** happens from time to time , i apologised to Bony for de-railing his thread , onwards and upwards!

With Aber finally removed i hope to see the likes of Vetch and KJ return/contribute here more often, which would have made all the girly handbag stuff a worthwhile cause <ok>

I remember when I was younger that everyone where I lived (Tycoch) was terrified of Townhill - absolutely nonsense. Used to walk home of a night through there, never once had a problem. Moved to a quiet devon coastal town and within a few weeks one of my mates got beaten up by the marines - it's all about superficial assumptions by people who have never been there.

We complain about other people outside of Swansea for judging our city without having come here or really knowing the place, but we then go and do that to an area within it.

Go figure - people are an odd bunch.
