I remember those games. The disappointing thing was Fiorentina played in their change strip and not the violet coloured shirts. For some reason I always looked for Fiorentina results. I love the contrast between such an elegant city as Florence and the raving looney fanatics who follow La Viola. Only major city in Italy without a Juventus fan club building as every time they built one it got burnt down. We should adopt a similar attitude to those who support clubs from other cities.:D

We have similar political leanings as Bologna but lack the miles of covered arcades and delicious food shops selling timeless delicacies.Oh sorry I forgot about Bob Carvers-The Healthy Option. We are almost twins.I am not sure how well this news will go down in Italia

Siena - formed in the same year 1904. Similar attendance around 20k. Wierd animal on the badge could pass as a tiger from 40 yards with a squint. Current kit has horizontal stripes in black and white - spooky.

FIFA 13 Seasons matches us up with clubs it's game engine considers equal to our level. I've played teams ranging from Atletico Mineiro who Ronaldinho plays for in Brazil, the US clubs mentioned, Feyenoord, FC Koln in Germany, Deportivo la Coruna, and various others. Seems quite close to the mark to me.

The coruna one is a good call, formed within 2 years of each other, striped colours like us (usually), similar stadium almost, and both have a marina, sorted

I've had a few teams from Italy too playing that seasons format, racking my brains to think who. It's quite good as you never get us up against top end Prem teams but occasionally the likes of Norwich, Southampton and so on. We get Celtic quite a bit, thats maybe one I would question as I would put them in the top half of the Prem bracket.

Underachieving club from north of Italy, should be bigger, regional centre, occasionally make it to Serie A these days, but have not been a force for many many years.

A gastronomic hotspot with liberated women renowned or reputed to offer oral relief far more readily than most cities.

Plus they have the letter 'l' in their name....

Very odd reading this conversation you are having, some of you being less flattering to your club but as a fan of a truly bollocks team if there was ever a point I could say my team were on par with Hull City I'd be thrilled!

Yep distinct lack of hi viz bods there.

Senor Juan Cooperio is also non presente.

According to the powers that be, there is no demand for stadia like that. No corporate areas, unreserved standing/sitting areas, very little provision for kids or women, people singing and bouncing around.

Yet amazingly no multiple deaths and packed stadia.

Could it be we've been sold a pup by Dein, Scudamore & Dykes Ltd. ?

I'm not aware of Hull City having any particular political leanings

    Bologna (the city) is 'Communist'

That's Italian Communist- which means Prada shoes, Barolo, skiing holidays in the Dolomites and Fair Trade Olive Oil.
