At least you haven't got to worry about defenders trying to cripple him in the games, like we have to with Bale against Adam.

Not when he's not playing, no. I meant you haven't got to worry about worse damage over the next two games. <ok>

Whereas Scotland players seem to tripping over themselves to try and take Bale out of the game tonight.

So your argument is that it's better to have an injured player than a fit player who might get injured?

Ladies and gentlement, may I present to you the "logic" of a Spurs fan.

Reports say Walcott is out for 10 days, so could miss the Reading game, seems he had a small muscle tear, so I would suspect Wenger would keep him out anyway to let him heal with no risks.

Sounds like a blow, but Walcott's form has been poor, hasn't scored since our 2-2 draw with Liverpool, basically, 8 appearances with 0 goals.

Go with Podolski and OXO out wide, Giroud up front. All 3 guys need to put in a good performance and show their worth.

Walcott's form was not great anyway, so it's not a massive blow. Also, there are little signs that AOC might be returning to some form and we also have Rosicky who can play on the wings.

Theo isn't a huge blow, and if anything, it'll give him a few days rest to relax and recharge for the run-in. Provided Arsenal still beat Reading (which they should) it won't be a huge loss.

In a way it's good some players are getting a rest over this period, while others are getting games & confidence that need minutes on the pitch.
