There are some ace birds in it. And I thought it was a film of 2 halves - loved the first half, 2nd half less good.

This is a source of the Top 100 British Films of all time:

    http://www.imdb.com/list/hiWI5crDHtI/

I am surprised that none have mentioned "The Full Monty", "The Kings Speech", "Gandhi", "Brighton Rock"(original), "Chariots of Fire", "Goodbye Mr Chips"(original),"Slumdog Millionaire" and many others. Was not one of my favourite films "The Commitments" a British Film too?

    A Hard Days Night
    Help
    Educating Rita
    Get Carter
    Kes
And most of the Carry On's

I make no apologies about the Beatle films I saw them that often I knew the script off by heart in the end.

Can't believe I forgot Educating Rita. Also can't believe I'm the only one to mention Secrets and Lies, it's an incredible film.
