Had nasty crossing between Porstmouth and IOW yesterday. I suffer from motion sickness and, although not actually ill, I slept from 6.00 pm yesterday until 9.30 this morning with only the odd hour up for a cup of tea during that period. Why I will never go on a cruise!!

Lots on tv at moment about West Ham taking over the Olympic Stadium. They have to share profits from matchday, hospitality, naming rights etc with the taxpayer in order to pay back part of costs for 10 years. The 10 years clause is to prevent them selling the club with the Olympic Stadium as an asset in the short term Not sure if it means they own it after 10 years. Will be 65,000 capacity and also have to be fit for athletics and other sports. The advantage to WHU is that they will quickly be in a new stadium and presumably the sums add up. I'm wondering what the atmosphere will be like being in such a large stadium and presumably a long way from the pitch. The Crystal Palace issue is still ongoing.

Sky just answered two of my questions...seats will be reduced to 54,000 and seats will be retractable over the running track.
