No Ricc, I have been waiting for somebody to tell me. I think this football club is keeping that information close to their chest.
yeah me too, normally if they are selling well they keep us up to date. I have to say I think it will be much lower next season
Well all I can say is I'm still determined to stick to my guns and not renew next season.. am I cutting my nose off to spite my face? Maybe we are. IF and it's not going to happen, Pulis leaves I WILL be there in 15mins and shell out for X 2. Until then Mr Coates two words. " Go swivel " And nope, I've not seen nor heard anything.
I said that to my mate today, they will keep the "early bird" prices going for some time yet, in that hope that people like POTTS will finally break and give in ha ha
Ric As much as it hurts for me NOT to renew I honestly won't do it while Pulis is there. And he broke my faith weeks ago. Since then 1 of my 3 mates who attended away games as well has said like me. He won't go back until....
to be honest I feel really bad about saying that I wont go to any games until Pulis has gone, does this make me a bad supporter?, im not sure to be honest but I have always stuck to what I believe and what is happening at Stoke I BELIEVE is not right and sometimes you have to make hard choices to get the best outcome in the end.
I dont know, hopefully, I must say I do miss the atmosphere of being at the Brit (even though its not what it was)
Kickabow Good argument or should I say a good point you are making!! BUT my decision is not a (knee jerk reaction at all) Not only Nick, Smither's, Waddo but a few more who have stood at the Old Vic for years are (doing ths same thing) NO renewing untill.. More than once over the last few months we have talked about this. Are we wrong? As Ric say's does it make us bad supporters? Maybe it does because a REAL FAN in my oppinion sticks by the TEAM and the CLUB whatever happens. That's how I've always thought of it anyway. SUPPORT in essence means to get behind, believe in and stick by anything in life, not just football. That said it will hurt like hell not sitting in my usual seat next season, IF Pulis is still here. For me, some things in life are more important that applies to all of us. Yes, it's just a game but although it's of late for me pergatory to sit there in HOPE every home game I will still attend every home game till the season ends.. After that ? On a final note WELL done to those of you who are or have renewed. I salute you all, we are the best fans always have been always will be. HOW we've managed to fill that Stadium the last season or so proves it! What sickens me is simple enough. WHAT would it be like IF we actually attacked teams every week? We don't and that's purely done to one man I now hate with a passion. And yeah it's killing me to say it but I won't GO BACK EVER until... Rant over. K T F all. I just wish I could.
Ricc, Potts, If you believe in something and have a passion about it then you have to follow it through, neither of you hate the team and neither of you want anything but the best for our club which you rightly see as being under poor stewardship. I salute you both.
yeah I agree with what youre saying but if hes here next season then I wont be going a game for over 12 months which I have never done since I started supporting stoke. i will miss it but I refuse to go!.
I've heard that it may be close to 17,000 which leaves us 5,000 short on what we sold 2 seasons ago at this stage!
Waddo mate, If that's true IMHO there is no way the club will sell another 5,000 surely? A shame but I could see this happening, I think in truth most of us on here did.
Ricc, If you go back once Pulis has gone then you are a true supporter and this is just circumstance, you are voicing a protest against what Pulis is doing to your club, the more that do the faster the resolution will come.
I was under the impression that they were only on 8k, I can't believe they shifted an additional 9k in 48 hours judging by the tumble weed that was rolling round the Brit! Take into account that the 22k season ticket holders was the final amount sold and not the amount sold at the early bird stage.
My Mate asked the ticket seller and she said they were close up to the 17,000 mark. Granted that could be BS and something she is told to say to pacify the natives. I suppose we will see next season mate the reality of it all!
I heard it was 8k last week, and there was a mad rush on the final day for early bird. From what I gather, a lot of people have renewed, but have left it as late as possible to make a point. Sales will still be down though, not many on here have renewed, and a few of my mates haven't, probably a few thousand in total not gone for it this time round. I still plan to attend matches I can go to, but with work I miss quite a lot of games, and if we carry playing how we have this season, I'll have no one to sell my ticket to for games I can't make, so no season ticket for me, I'll just get match day tickets for the ones I'm off for.
