agree with a lot on the lists but my favourite british film is Twin Town. the end scene with the male voice choir on the pier singing Myfanwy is just brilliant.
Oh and Clockwork Orange is the most overated film of all time. Pretending to understerstand it,or like it,will not make you seem an intellectual. KK's top tips
Horse droppings. Great film, wouldn't call it the best ever or even one of the but I understood it or at least understood whatever it was I believed to be the plot which is good enough me.
Loved it - the dichotomy of man set in a surrealist world with alcoholic milkshakes ... what's not to like?
another really good but little known black-comedy is LAVA , , worth looking out for . Rise of the Footsoldier is good too yeah ! i also enjoyed Love Honour and Obey , DVO sucking on a cucumber wtf !!!!
... well worth watching if only for the quality of the muff and tits on view before the gang fight near the beginning ...
He is great in that. Another great British actor (more TV than film) who had a great turn recently in a film was Richard Briars, his little role in Cockneys vs Zombies is one of the funniest I've seen in ages- R.I.P to him. Goes to show these great actors never lose it right to the end, hopefully Caine still has a few more tricks up his sleeve too.
Interestingly, part of this was filmed at a City game away at Bratfud. I was in the away end that day and we all thought it was a City fan running from their end to get back to us and cheered him on until he turned around and did another take and then we all saw the cameras. Arf.
