Well, Doyley and Nos for a start........

As far as I'm aware, Vydra is in the Czech squad for two games over the next week - home to Denmark & away to Armenia
Chalobah is in the squad for two England U21 fixtures.

Those four are more than enough for me - leaves us a bit bare for the Burnley game.

There's what sounds like an air-raid siren been going for about 20 minutes here - absolutely no idea why, but a police car went past here about 15 minutes ago.

Bad weather forecast again Jersey, strong winds with a lot of rain coming in from the west. Turning to snow in the north as it hits colder air, but the weather geeks are saying up to 40mm of rain over the week-end in the west. So better batten down the hatches and get the sand-bags stacked.

I see that the Scottish independence referendum is planned for Sept 2015 - seems a long time to campaign, but still at least it's announced. I am sure it will lead to some lively debate on here in the coming months and perhaps a separate thread will be required

I saw some of the debate today. Someone called Salmon pompous. Clearly not ready for separation with language like that. ;)

The siren was due to a fuel fire at the power station, or more precisely, a false alarm about a fuel fire - I just wish someone would turn the bloody thing off. (the alarm, not the power station)

Morning all, just seen what the weather is like over the UK, so as I do not wish to make anyone feel depressed I will not tell you what it is doing here.

Looks as if I will be out and about the estate most of the day. More aching muscles by the time I have finished no doubt. :(

Morning all, have a half day today as I am supposed to be driving up to my Dad's in Southport. However the weather may affect my journey a bit. They've already go a couple of inches of snow up there and its not due to stop until tomorrow. I'm sure the M1 & M6 will be fine and clear on a Friday afternoon in this weather <doh>. Luckily Mrs Sandy is having to stay behind as she still has an autism course tomorrow, so I'm driving up with both children on my own.........what could possibly go wrong <doh><doh><doh>

Morning all from a very chilly bandit country - some snow first thing when I was at Tesco at 07.30, but now just cold and windy!

We have friends round for dinner tonight that is going to be cooked by Little Miss W_Y <yikes> - should be fun. Mrs W_Y has finished Uni this year and hands her last assignment this afternoon - so we are celebrating.

Best of luck with your journey Sandy, hope the weather behaves for you

    Morning all

It's neither raining nor snowing here...yet.

We're awaiting the arrival of Mrs H's son, wife and grandson and we'll be baby-sitting a two-year old tonight and tomorrow. Looking forward to it as he's great fun and loves his football. Sadly his dad's a gooner but I could try a bit of subversion while his parents are not around <laugh>

    Israel 3 - 3 Portugal

Either Israel has come on in leaps and bounds, or Portugal are nothing like they were a few years ago.
