Im sure there were a few Aber. Thing is i know alot more local Swansea boys who were there too and i can tell you something for nothing,there wernt many white socked valley boys on the North bank in them days. The Swans has nearly always been supported by the local population where Cardiff has always been supported by people mostly outside of Cardiff, places like Bridgend and the rhondda etc,etc.

When cardiff were **** there was 1500 watching them and when the Swans were **** there were about 2000 watching them,both crap considering the size of the cities. As ive said on another thread its not important where the support comes from but as the recent shafting from VT on cardiff has shown there is no real attachment to the cause because deep down you aint Cardiff people, when the same thing happened at the Swans the whole community backed the team because it was our team,our city and our club.

Thats why cardiff are in the mess they are in because none of the supporters have taken ownership of their problems,they hail from the valleys and bridgend and port talbot so when it goes tits up its easy to close the curtains and forget about it all.

Alot of people that closed the curtains in swansea at that bad time opened them to see the Vetchfield standing there, most who travelled to work drove past there everyday, it was in our fabric and it meant something to us . Cardiff city aint in your fabric is it? you dont go anymore and open your curtains to see the closed coal mines and rubble left over from "the tory scum" thats in your fabric ,that and alot of THC content

I completely agree with what Norway has said. I'm only 22, and so not really in a position to move abroad or where I have sufficient experience in my field to reduce the risk of emigrating. However, I will be doing so as soon as I feasibly can

What if i told you i still pay all my national insurance contributions and maintain property back in sunny old swansea? still pay the council tax for my 1 pack of black bin bags per year and still use local trades people and garages as and when needed? i probably still pay more into my own local economy while working away than alot of people like yourself do at home !!
