The Lad will get Pelters till the end of the year!!!

The FA`s ridiculous decision not to punish McManahan could have a profound effect on the lads career!! We all know it was a really bad tackle but by not acting on it from the FA and by Wigan sticking by their player they have created a huge problem for the young lad. Every fan in the country knows that the tackle was a potential career ending challenge!! The fact that Wigan have come out and defended the lad will mean that all opposing fans now hate WIGAN.. All it would have took was for Wigan to have come out and said, " you know what, that was a bad challenge but it was not intentional. The lad is sorry about what happened, he has spoken to Haidara and apologised." Thats it!! Thats all it would have taken to diffuse the whole thing! Instead we have these baffons at the FA talking bollocks and quoting the letter of the law as it stands at the moment and we have we have the manager and Chairman of wigan talking ****e about what a nice lad our player is!!!

I hope WIGAN get f**ckin relegated because of they have behaved in this situation!! I think every fan of every club in the country feels the same as we do at this moment. That lad is going to be given so much ****e every time he even touches the ball for the rest of the season I reaaly hope he is made of strong stuff!!! Cos if he aint he will be finished as a footballer!!!

Maybe but I suspect it'll soon die a death if he behaves himself. Only by numbers do you obtain notoriety and real long term hatred. The FA had the power to and should have acted though.

 

Hi mate from a stoke fan i agree it was a disgusting challenge and certainly it could of been a career ending one! as for wigan defending him, martinez was out of order he should of said it was a bad/mistimed tackle but to come out and say "i will be surprised if the fa charge him" was out of order, and the fa are a joke mate, anyhow good to see he is ok and good luck for the rest of the season fella. Rotter.

 

If the FA had shown even a fraction of the leadership that was required, and Dave Whelan had not decided to do some more publicising for his favourite cause (Dave Whelan) then we would all be talking about something else by now like we should be. The FA have seriously misjudged this one. The only part of this whole subject that needed to still be on the agenda is how well Haidara is getting on in recovering from his injury.

 

He should be banned as long as hiadara is out injured. Filthy challenge i believe he went out to hurt the guy.

 

McManaman will be a marked man from now on - by refs and opposing players. The FA have also hung the officials out to dry in this case, by refusing to correct an obvious mistake. Officials will react accordingly, by reaching for their cards more readily. Is this really a surprise though? These FA jokers probably know more about golf than they do about football. Heard who the new FA chairman is? Greg Dyke, who has spent his life running TV companies. A reall footballing decision.

 

Somebody that has run his life making more money than he can spend. He thinks he can take it with him when he goes, but it'll just burn and be of no use to him.

Haidara is ok thank goodness. Still love to try the same tackle on McManaman and see if he gets the same slice of luck (because thats all that saved our full back).
