Above post, ones I highlighted that I like or did I miss something with another of the names tha I just don't know about?
Okay, those are a lot. Startng off with the De Vrij or Alderweireld discussion: Stefan de Vrij is way too young to cross over to the EPL. He'd get run ragged on the pitch, needs a couple of years to get there. Alderweireld is similar to Vertonghen but slower and less intelligent. Not my favorite to be honest because he makes to many mistakes in a game. He is mature enough but he just lacks wit and cunningness to be a class act defender. Viktor Fischer is a world class player in the making, but he needs experience. If any big club were to buy him now it would mean certain failure for the kid because of the lack of playing time he will likely get. All of the other names you mentioned are known for their technique, passing and intelligence on the pitch. Siem de Jong, Adam Maher, Strootman and Dries Mertens all have fantastic shooting and passing techniques with Siem de Jong on top, I rate him better right now as Dries Mertens. Most of all because his vision and tactical ability on the pitch is I think after Van Bommel the best in the League. Wilfred Bony is just a goal scorer all around but he lacks speed. Unsuitable for counter football which makes him unfit for the long balls in the EPL. Works best as a target man in the box. But the best talent and the best in form player right now: Filip Djuricic, the guy is absolutely fantastic, for the Eredivisie. I still have some doubts if he can do the same in a different league because of his age. He got the experience, he got the vision and intelligence. His technique and passing are phenomenal, the kid is brilliant in tactics and creating chances as he is very creative with the ball. You basically are playing with 12 men with this 21 year old Serb. There I think I got most of them.
Thanks, I always thought Bony was pacy? Guess not. Ya I have heard good things with Djuricic and I agree on Siem De Jong, think he is a class act as well.
Bony is 90% muscle. Extremely ball secure and stronger than a horse. But with all that weight his top speed is very low. He just can't run very fast. But it makes him lethal in the box and very agile too.
Read something in the Mirror at lunchtime linking us with some big, young Brazilian CB. Can't remember the name. It was one word as usual.

FFS I'm a big fan of De Jong, Maher, Clasie, Eriksen and Strootman. Would love to get a few of those for our midfield and ship out our current lot!
What no Altidore!?!? To think you call yourself an American! He has to be miles better than Borini and he wouldn't have to adapt to the physical aspect of the premier league. I think Strootman and/or Erikson will end up at United over the summer.
Two words for that...... AFONSO ALVES. Altidore did play in the prem already and was ****ing woeful for HULL..... HULL!!!!!!
Yes when he was 19. And he was **** for Hull because Hull were ****. If I remember right he didn't get a lot of playing time either. He's 4 years older now and has been scoring for fun in Holland.
