Which club out of the current bottom three can bounce to the Premiership back quickest (if they go down)? Wigan, and QPR, in particular have a small, fickle fanbase, and are reliant on a benefactor to make up for their lack of supporters. Reading, suffer from this too. Rangers have the biggest wage bill. Reading, the richest benefactor.
Villa should stay up and have the fan base to support a Prem club. A lot of QPR areas moved over to Chelsea and Fulham in the past decades
I still think Norwich might struggle, they don't score enough goals and if Wigan win their game in hand the gap is only 4 points. Then again Sunderland looked pretty horrendous today and Martin O'Neill seems to have a strange obsession with playing players out of position. I think QPR and Reading and the other could be one of about 5-6 teams!
I think the problem for QPR is replacing the players that will inevitably be allowed to leave and lowering the wage bill, plus keeping hold of their manager. Wigan will be alright under Martinez and represent the best chance of going back up but I have to say I'd be amazed if they turned it around and bounced straight back. Reading will be alright as they have players good enough at that level
Plus to me Martinez has been bold with his 3-4-1-2 formation and there doesn't seem to be mercenaries in their squad. Budget squad too with Kone, Ramis, Maloney, Espinoza all impressing
