http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/luis-suarez-puts-manchester-city-1766833 Liverpool striker Luis Suarez looks set to join Manchester City this summer in a £40m move. He will replace Mario Balotelli who left for AC Milan in January. The move looks to come about after Suarez said he would be open to a transfer to a club playing in the Champions League. With Liverpool having little or no chance of achieving qualification for the Champions League yet again, they look set to cash-in on their prize asset. It's not a massive fee when you consider Liverpool forked-out £35,000,000 for Andy Carroll - who is now out on loan to West Ham United. Although there is mounting speculation over the safety of Roberto Mancini's job at the Etihad Stadium, it's not foreseen as a problem to sign a player of the quality of Suarez - Jose Mourinho could easily figure him into his plans.
Also he's plucked the £40m figure out his arsehole. If the ponytailed dog botherer went for £35m then Suarez is worth at least £70m
I would agree with that - Carroll was never worth £35m. Although the irony of Scousers being robbed was not lost on me!
I thought he was more or less nailed on to go to bayern - isn't his agent Guardiola's brother or brother in law?
