Indeed mate! Yeah they're just more aggressive, look better, more fun and on quite a few occasions faster. I don't want a computer - I want a car!
My problem is fatherhood. Had my love of cars sucked out of me having to drive the Avensis for the last three years
I didn't mean I used to own those types of cars I've always liked my cars though. after the typical first cars (two Fiesta's), I had a N reg Clio in white that had the full body kit and was only four inches off the floor. I followed that with a 02 plate MG ZR in Suburu blue and I ****ing loved that car, only got rid of it because the gearbox was on its way out. I then had a black colour co-ordinated 06 plate Renault Megane with all the trimming but got my money back after just nine months because of mechanical problems. Had the Avensis since...
Fair play mate i'm only rocking a 2010 Corsa! Not fast but I do a lot of miles and its great for that, plus its a fleet car.
The Megane was a diesel so the acceleration was awful but once it hit 2,000 revs it shifted The Avensis is 1.8 but weights 3,000 tonnes Fair play to it though, it keeps accelerating until it hits three figures
Must be my age (and the financial squeeze) but I'm considering going back to a Feista or Clio (newer versions than before), possibly even a Suzuki Swift. Fairly cheap cars to run (tax, fuel and insurance) but also light so nippy too.
The only car I hate more than the Corsa is a Saxo, I think its down to them being a favourite amongst boy racers
