Talking of playing the reserves, did they scrap that rule that said you had to play a full strength team in the Premiership?

 

Unfortunately I don't think we are in a position to do this yet. Pardew still has a balancing act to do between safety and europa. We should be fine - but we should have been fine 4 years ago! Even though I don't think it will be needed this year, I'll be a lot more relaxed when we get to the 40 point mark. We need to put out a team to try and take advantage of City's bad run.
