A film about twitter 'romance' is quite a boring concept though

 

He could do with some new material.

 

But whoever plays the girl in it will have to get naked and do lots of weird sex scenes. If that's someone like Emma Watson, the film can be as boring as it wants!

 

What do you mean? Calling moderators nazis, complaining about Britain being a police state and talking up conspiracy theories never gets old.

 

The problem is that the book was trash, so no self-respecting actress would accept the role. That's the same reason you've probably never heard of any of the "actors" in the Atlas Shrugged film.

 

All I know about it, is that it's about kinky sex? And it was insanely popular with middle aged women. But even if the story is shocking, it is so well known that a lot of people will go and see the film version nonetheless. I guess it depends on who they can get to direct it too.

Regardless of how well it does financially, it's very likely to be poorly received by critics. Top actors will know that and they won't want their name on it. If they do get some well-known names to star in it, they'll probably be the kinds of actors who exclusively star in other **** films like Twilight and Transformers. I'd be happy to watch Kristen Stewart play the part. Mila Kunis and Emma Watson are actually in good films though.

Yeah while I agree in essence. Good actors do sometimes do bad films though. Not sure how they can even turn an erotic novel into a film that's not porn, the romance side of the story line would need to be pretty strong. I guess it would have to be something along the lines of secret diary of call girl.

You did it for him this time, Dan. But don't take it too hard, I'd noticed him myself, so he was on a short rein [or should that be reign..?]

 

Not on purpose though, that's the difference. With most bad films, you don't know they'll be bad until they come out. This one is blatantly going to be terrible, much like Atlas Shrugged, even though it hasn't even begun the filming process yet.

I'm not sure if I have the talent/patience to do a proper one.
