this is actually amazing... this guy played a few games you might call league one in the europa and he's suddenly world class and being held back.

I mean come on! the guy is seen in training and when others have been called for in the same way but resisted people criticise managers but they are usually proven right... eg pacheco, or even sterling (too soon) for me this is like demanding nunez or bloddy kronkamp got more game time. They are average players. I still have no idea why this guy was even signed. He's got no end product!

Whats more amazing is your assumption that we are saying he is being held back and managing to read between the lines and find us to be saying he is world class!

Granted your comment was 'slightly' exaggerated but a few games in the Europa whilst we expected a 24 year old to be signed to play for the first team, hence our concerns about his lacking of playing time. In response to your league one comment, may I remind you that he played against Zenit? Or as you talking about the 'majority' of games?

He may seem average, each to their own, our concerns soley rely on why he hasn't been given playing time so no point attempting to take our words out of context, claiming we inferred him as a world beater.

No end product? He done pretty well at his former club, hasn't had a decent run at Liverpool.

Your comments of him being average is nothing but a compliment with him being ina Liverpool side who haven't had a decent winger in so many years (maybe Downing is showing some abilities now, but he hasn't been that great either)

    Anyway, nothing personal, just football..

And yet whilst we persisted with Downing when he had no end product for 15 months, Assaidi is lucky to get 15minutes every 3 months to show himself. It's down to more than just the training pitch, that much is obvious.

Nowhere near world class, but for me he's shown some promise that he could build on with more consistant game time. At least he can beat a man, has some pace and a bit of skill. That's a start.

Building on what you said, he offers an unpredictable figure into the starting line up, why should we persist with Downing when we have a player who also fits well into the system we are trying to play, he's younger, faster, has better control on the ball and hasn't had the run he seems to deserve.

Bearing in mind this is our concern, but we are aware of possible off field issues and what is happening behind the scenes.
