I don't care if he knew Jimmy Savile personally, all I know is that he's dead and can't defend himself, therefore no one will ever know if he knew. As for Celtic being punished for events at that time, surely that was - as seems to now be the case with The Rangers - the old Regime? You can't surely be suggesting that the current Celtic administration (or owner) be held accountable for the alleged actions or inactions of the Kellys and the Whites? Or are you now suggesting that Rangers should be punished for the actions of Craig Whyte and David Murray? Should The Rangers pay the £250k fine that was imposed the other week by LNS, or is that different? I'm confused.
Maybe they are angry about not being fast-tracked? Seems strange considering they wanted no special treatment and were happy to work their way back up the leagues on merit on their great adventure, now they want to leave behind all the new friends they made. It's a real head scratcher.
