I really enjoy reading your discussion - in particular you guys who happen to be abroad Swansea fans. In Denmark it is very common to consider yourself a fan of a local club and an international club. Normally its due to the often very poor showings by Danish teams on the European level. In the 1970/1980 "PL" football was broadcasted live on national tv, so many Danes still follow Nottingham Forrest, Crystal Palace, Coventry, Ipswich etc., clubs past their peak (for the time being). But the clubs are loyally followed by people, who go and see games featuring their local clubs, and who often never even saw their admired (?) club live.
Swans fan here mikra and never seen them play live but been following them since mid 60s, ppl call me plastic, who gives a flying rats arse
Yes I concur with that aswan, and any time you want a reference to that effect, I'm your man!..................
I'm quite shocked to see what I've read here. Everyone should be made to feel welcome and I can't quite believe one persons reaction to Mikraswan. I knew this person was out of touch but this is beyond belief. At least everyone else has made him feel welcome.
I didn't realise there was a problem on here to be honest , I think it's great to have new ( what ever we call ourselves) on here ,it brings another perspective to the discussion and long may it continue >It's like having a pen pal
cant see a drama barring one persons view on what a fan is, he has been warned, in my opinion all people who follow the Swans, regardless of country and following a team in their own country are fans
I'm only shocked by one person not being very welcoming. Can't understand why when everyone else had been very friendly to our Danish friend.
I just hope Mikra hasn't been put off by one man. As I've said before I couldn't care less who or where anyone is, if they want to support the Swans then that's good enough for me.
