If I want to do anything this season then it's to stop that redneck, tobbaco chewing song 'Addams Family' it so chavvy, it's sung by backwards who should be wearing dungarees and playing a banjo. In short, lets give it back from where it came- to Millwall. It's not funny, it's so cringeworthy. Can't we all boo, clap or just slap anyone that sings it. If it goes by the season end, then I may buy a season ticket (at Chelsea)
I've had a bellyful of the Addams Family song, the Jeremy Kyle song(they can't see the irony) and hopefully the Jimmy Savile song has disappeared. Maybe when Big Dave does his "Get behind the boys............" he could change it a bit to say something about it. I'm sure it would be appreciated.
I just laugh at the irony - if you are dumb enough to sing these songs you are effectively described by them. They are not top of my things to moan about list but I don't much care for them.
I still think that there ought to be a new Kermorgant song based around 'Karma Camheleon' KermaKermaKermaKermaKermaKermorgant Red White and Goals Red White and Goals oh oh oh ad nauseaum As I sit in the West and don't partake in singing/cheering/generaldisplayingofemotion I feel I am remarkably well placed to become a sort of Andrew Lloyd Webber laureate for The Valley (until it is sold, obviously)
Richard Redden at every meeting always mentions this song and the behaviour of Charlton fans on away trips. For once I agree with something you have posted Typical. The song is embarrassing and has got no place at Charlton or any other club.
Hate the song and I am embarrassed every time I hear it. I found the Jeremy Kyle song amusing when it was sung at Millwall away and the fact that the Spanners did not get the irony made it even funnier in my opinion, but when it was sung at Hull away I found it as pathetic as the Addams family song.
I will not have Dick Plumb agreeing with me. I take back all I've said, right all together now.."your sister is your m.... Just joking Dicky, thanks for inviting Bernie over, he is a great lad.
That is alright Typical,I just wanted Barnie to come on here to outline what the Supporters Trust is all about. It is up to every Charlton Supporter to make up their own mind, in what they want to happen.I have never met Barnie but from reading his posts and e mails he is genuine and he and the other members of the Supporters Trust seem to want what is best for the Club without egos getting in the way. Can we now get back to normal Typical, where you post something and I come on and disagree with it.
It is just a song, i don't see anything wrong with it, giving the opposition fans stick is one of the main points to any matchday experience. I am much more offended by the poor football i witness at The Valley than a song to be completely honest
