blackburn are the epitomy of stupid owners. they sack allardyce who was doing well because of his long ball style. i agreed with this, but then they appointed someone even worse. after sacking him, and replacing him, and sacking them and so on, they appoint someone who is in for a few games, loses a few and they get rid. they do not understand football at all.

having said that, i have no idea how we lost to them...

Also, Michael Owen has announced that he will retire at the end of the season. His career might have ended on a low (a reserve at Stoke), but he was some player at his peak. And no England fan should ever forgot this goal.

For the ref to miss a tackle like this in the game, was bad enough, but for the FA to not take retrospective action is just shocking. Protect the refs, but not the players. Bloody morons.

At least he got to play in a major international tournament, unlike every Welsh player post 1958.

 

We got to the 1/4 finals of the European Championships in 1976 unlike certain other countries

 

There was only four teams in the finals of that tournament. So, that does not count.
