No surprise the FA have come to the wrong conclusion yet again, the ref even apologised to Newcastle for missing it but the FA are not going to take any action. So anything goes if the ref misses it.
He should be made to PAY. Seeing that again I saw the ref was unsighted by another Newcastle player in his line of vision, but one of the other 3 officials should have picked it up
That is incredible. Even the ref said he didn't see it. suggesting he would have done something if he had.
But they said the lino saw it so they cant do anything. Even my mother was appalled by it when she saw it. So we get screwed over by the officials twice, not sending him off and having Wigan lose the game and having him available to play us which is typical.
Reminds me of when Mike Dean said he would have sent off Tevez if he had seen what he did to Barton, yet the FA did nothing.
If Barton had done what Mcmanaman did, he would have been banned for 1000 years, but that little prick got away scot free.
Norwich may feel even more aggrieved. They had an appeal for bunn knocked back and the one game he will be missing is against Wigan!
There is no decision. As soon as it is written in the ref's report that one of the 3 main match officials saw it the FA cannot do anything about it. They have to follow their own rules how ever stupid those rules are. If they banned McManaman they'd lose the legal challenge Wigan would go down.
The worst part of this whole shambles was Dave Whelan's ridiculous assertion that McManaman won the ball 'clean as a whistle' and all Wigan have done is back the player. What sort of message does that send?...
Don't worry, I'm sure Lee Camp will look back on his time with you fondly and do his best as Bunn's understudy to stop Wigan. Unless he remember's Flyer's views on him...
And now Newcastle's assistant has been banned. Wigan are the only ones that escape scot-free from all this
