Woke up with a cracked laptop screen , Very annoying

Must have kicked it off my bed in my sleep, i am now posting on my kids Wii u pad thing.
Not sure if i should repair screen buy cheap laptop or follow my Mrs advice and pay £2000 plus for an Apple notebook pro..
I can still use the broken one if i put it through the HDMI socket in my telly but its annoying..

 

People sell replacement screens on ebay, might be able to sort it out for about £50, imagine it's quite fiddly.

 

I tried posting on chatbox regarding the size of your girlfriends ringpiece compared to her bent pal... I wont fix the screen myself

 

it's easy to replace a laptop screen.

I've done it before. And a keyboard.

Plus, there's youtube videos of how to do it.
