http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-21833045 In the interests of fairness, I should point out that West Yorkshire is significantly more populated than the region covered by Humberside Police. But using the figure from the 1991 census for Humberside their population is about 2.5 times ours, and they've had 6 times as many cannabis farms.
What do you expect with the WYP in charge ? Pity they cannot control this area of life unlike they do with football fans.
Not impressed really, that isn't very much weed. In the same time period my section of California alone had 18,000,000 Marijuana plants confiscated. The illegal farms here are so big that they have to put them in national forests because they occupy to many square feet to exist in someones house, backyard or farm.
Its legal for medical purposes as far as the state goes but it is still illegal according to the federal government. You can get state permit to grow your own weed for medical purposes but you are limited to 50 plants per person. The 18,000,000 plants confiscated are controlled by the cartels or biker gangs and that weed is shipped out of state or into the cities for illegal use. Who knows how much illegal weed is grown that isnt confiscated but it is really everywhere here. I am also in the meth capital of the US, something like 80% of the meth made in the US is produced in the huge valley that I am in.
There's a deal opportunity for City here. We're in dialogue with Clouseau and the Keystone Cops anyway, so what about an arrangement were we'll take the grow-lamps off their hands for us on the KC pitch, and in return we'll stop highlighting to the world how inadequate they are.
Apparently the police are going to be sending out scratch n sniff cards to households so they know what cultivating cannabis smells like
