I love the way that Journos can take a quote or on their eyes a set of words and rearrange them to suit whatever they like ... In the Metro this morning

We lost - So What! Says QPR Chairman Fernandes

Those words above suggests as does the tone ... He don't care he is naive

Only at the end does the writer put in he is here for life

I know I have a problem with any negative written word about QPR
But I get enraged that these dicks are allowed to make a living out of this

It's the very reason why this forum is a better up to date read

I would seriously laugh if a journo took a beating from any fan group who decided to invent **** as part of his/her job. They are playing with people's passions .

I met Piers Morgan as a young man as the **** lived close to me and my mate knew and still knows the family
Since that experience ... Yes he is a tosser of the first order ... I have hated reporters

Today I hate the BBC and those ****ing hand movements

I want accountability

I did like Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford however

Stop the press......

Rich man states intention to stick with failing football club and the fans lap it up. Now thats Fickle.

Tonys failure in most areas that are not associated with airplanes makes the statement seem more like a threat than a promise. Completely unproffesional and will undermine team spirit.

Do we really need Tonys opinion on anything, he's just underwrites the bank loans and fails to act when needed. God help us the next time he "BACKS" a manager.

As Clive Wittingham has stated in even this week on open all r's, the board need experience and to address the fact that they know **** all about football.

The tweet from Tony just seems to me to reaffirm his total lack of understanding of a) english culture and b)football.

I called our relegation back in november when he failed to act and I'll honestly think the club will go bust if a more responsible business person can't be found to buy us out, someone who isn't convinced of their own messianic convictions, who is stinking rich know something of the game and wants to buy QPR.

Long wait then.

If we sign up with Tony as chairman for another year we will not be bouncing back, Amit needs to run the club he's the only hope we have.

Tony Stand down and let Amit do his thing, it worked for tango and cash, and their much richer than you.

As rich owners of football clubs go TF seems to me to be about as good as they get, but I don't know so much about him and I have a hard time believing everything he says, simply because there's very few I'd trust that much anyway, especially owners of football clubs. My concrete concerns with TF are his key football decisions with us so far, I still think he f*kked up sacking Colin who I reckon would have brought in the players last January to have made us safe by end last March, and had the cajones to manage us, appointing Hughes who had no cajones at all, and then waiting about 2 months too long before giving Hughes the heaveho. Bringing in Harry though was a good move all be it done too late.

Personally, none of that makes sense to me, particularly the assumption that Bhatia would be running the club in a completely different way to his fellow shareholder Fernandes. But everyone is perfectly entitled to their opinion.

To me, what this just goes to show is that no matter what you do it really is impossible to please all the people all the time, and there’s no point in trying to. If Fernandes is guilty of anything it’s this. He’s going to have to accept that the open approach can be taken too far (e.g. responding to insulting message from so called “fans” on twitter), and he will probably need to grow a thicker skin if he plans on sticking around (as I hope he does), particularly if we go down. <ok>

To anyone who believes that TF will go or needs to go ... Inhale a deep tote on your Gauloises ... Dizzy yet? ... take a big gulp of a your Tavel AOC and ponder this.

There will be always be a massive queue of other investors because QPR are really a very sexy football club in the west of the best city in the world

I challenged Tony to admit to his mistakes. He did, but has carried on making them regardless. FFS!!

Just not the right man to take us forward in my books, If we are a sought after club I hope Tony accepts one of those many offers he has to sell us to one those "rich sexy" types.

Doubt there really are any takers for a championship side with a misbalanced squad and a shocking debt zero real infrastucture and a demorilised staff lead by Phill "have you really emailed me, I havn't seen it" Beard. Fancy raiding your piggy bank do you dave?

Any one see where Tonys Caterham F1 car finished at the weekend, Better or worse?

As always, I live in hope.

I am sure it will boil down to ego ... As these sort of men of power and wealth need to be involved with these sort of projects ... For me I would rather have this sort of stuff about my football club than a well run boring company ... Chaos and struggle are the prizes for such a project IMO. Look at Arsenal if you want to see the results of safe

I have no doubt at all that our journey to becoming a big club and brand will happen and don't believe in any of the worry and concern of a view that it's all going to end in a bleak disaster ... He is here now as our chairman , has made massive improvements I say enjoy it and don't worry so much

Good point on Arsenal, Actually feel some pity for them. But not a lot.

Happy to be part of global, mutifaceted circus. Just not a crap one.

Improvments, moving season ticket holders to accomodate a family stand that all agree has not created an improved atmosphere at home games, not cutting ticket prices for Cup games because it makes business sense to have a stadium half empty!!

If the improvments at HQ have improved our chances of home wins then I am a cross dressing fairy Rhino in a tutu.

When the right noises start eminating from the church of St Tony I'll get on board and proudly wear some naff air asia branded toggs, but after 2 years I can't agree that we are moving in the right direction.

Real tangible improvments will generate goodwill, they're just feeling very tangible at the moment DT.

TF's Promises generate expectation, expectation generates hope. Hope screws us all in the end.

Real improvments are Harry and his contacts - too late to help though. and Phil "my emails not working" Beards promise to talk to supporters. Funny how he didn't promise to actually promise listen or address any concerns brought to him (the one that he can't deny knowing about this time !!) just talk.

Enlighten me as to those other improvments, I think I'm reaching my cynical zenith.

Dave - I am pretty sure he went to a posh school near me called Cumnor House - or was it after that you met him?

To be fair to Fernandes his cars didn't finish last and second last. They finished last and third last.

Totally agree with everything you've written, have never trusted TF from day one and have always said that with him it will all end in tears.

Really p***ed off with it all and as for Beard don't even go there. All mouth and bullshit and then what?

At the end of the day it's just Venkys with soy sauce.

I first met him in Newick, East Sussex at a party held by a good friend of his and mime Robert Hawkes, He was working I think on the Croydon Advertiser then and he came to a local pub one evening again to see Robert who lived next door to his parents in Newick. I have never met him since he has become famous this was when i was in my 20's. I eat sometimes at the Griffin at Fletching in East Sussex and I am told his family now run or own the pub.

Yes, that would make sense if he was working on the Croydon Advertiser. I read (I think in one of his books) that he went to Cumnor House so he must have lived somewhere near Croydon when he was younger. Doubt it is something he would refer to now though!!

He's forever running around telling everyone that he's Irish. He's no more Irish than Saddam Hussein. I've never warmed to the guy. I was kind of glad Clarkson twatted him that time.

Having said that, he's conducted a few very good interviews on that CNN show of his to be fair.

He hasn't changed it seems as he was always getting a slapping ... Awful human being and believe me he had a ego the size of small country then when I met him ... I didn't like him as he was always putting someone down
Ambitious is the only word I think suits him so he certainly wasn't from Ireland ... They are nice people

Regarding piers morgan, he went to my old secondary school (chailey secondary school), which is only about 15mins from cumnor house school, so that would make sense.

Why mate? please expand on this point ?

Not sure i understand fully. Ok we have changed but as bush says the improvement has been marginal at best. In fact if we compare this season to last, we may even say that we have regressed.as we didnt go down last season.

Seen lots of PR, harry and his signings are a massive plus & team slowly improving but, how much have we improved since we were promoted? Not enough i would say.

still, i'll back TF until someone can explain this deep seasted lack of trust ?
