They have a spell every 6 months or so when eveyone says they're leaving. I just don't get it. I had a month or so away from the forum and the only person I discussed it with was Ruff via PM. I just don't understand all the drama and ''I'm leaving'' threads.

It's drama queen, attention whoring. Poor old Dave got no support from his own, in his tirade at the Southampton fans on the match thread & was owned by some very erudite Saints posters. So his considerable ego has taken a bashing, & he's giving it the "woe is me" & flouncing off. He'll be back - guaranteed.
I met Dave for a few beers about a year ago (sorry if you know this) after we had one or two too many barnies after he continually gave me the "you're not intelligent enough" line. He's a nice bloke. Certainly does not come across as some intellectual super being and doesn't act one. No idea why he has to take that stance on this web site, depending on who you are he's going to get various reactions and they are justifiable. What I do know is he loves posting on here and he loves the camaraderie and crack so he will be back I've no doubt but cant be enjoying it just now. They all come back, eedjits.
Easy for you, just have to log into your Skylarker or Bluff accounts for a month and not use this one.

So am i really. I just have misguided thoughts and think that I am actually ok at it. start playing you'll be at a similar standard to me within weeks.. plus ruff is selling some **** hot clubs so you could buy a set of irons.. Also being married with children, it gives you an escape on sundays.
Ive never really been into them. Seen them live once when they supported that band from manchester that shall not be named. if the tickets were £15 i'd have gone. but they were £30 a pop.. Keep me posted on gigs you go to either round here or brizzle as the mrs loves going to gigs and I need to start doing stuff that doesnt involve me binge drinking.
