Another point of the over-modding i that yes there are 6 but Bozz is damn nearnever around, bow pops in and out and is I think more around on the weekend, I haven't seen Hash in quite a while either. More or less you are getting Ze, Gerrez, and Me for big chunks of the day. I myself had even questioned a one point ( a long while ago) where mods were and what are they doing but being one now, it is a lot tougher than most think. You have to make the decisions on when to draw the line between banter and too much and that can be tough at times. Anyway, when did Dave leave? Shanks rarely posted but was on every now and again. Also, another reason a lot of this is silly is that LG has been working hard on twitter trying to get more followers and getting people to come visit the site and we have spent the last week arguing about leaving, cliques, and other silly things. Why would anyone new want to join when they see all that? Hence why earlier in the week I cleaned it up and got rid of threads. I hope many stay but if wecan do the twitter thing right, we will hopefully seee a new influx of posters on here. EDIT: don't want anyone to leave but if you look back at the beginning ofthe forum, it just happens, although Dave has been here from day one and want him to stay greatly.
I am not a regular poster but will share my views. I think one of the main problems is the amount of non liverpool fans that flock to our board I have only posted on the Spurs board once and never on any other teams board. I think it is becoming harder to have a reasoned discussion with just Liverpool fans not saying other teams posters dont bring anything to discussions but there is a minority that bring nothing but the same stale bashing of certain posters. This then usually just evolves into a full blown school yard slanging match and then the thread is pointless.
All those viewing are welcome to air their thoughts on stopping the rot. Particularly your good self dave

Please Stop As far as my decision is concerned, it has NOTHING to do with any other poster or how the threads are managed. I made the decision on my own and for myself because I felt that there was little useful left that I could contribute i.e. I was going back over already old ground. Now I've read all the posts and all the PM's (which I will respond to once I've finished this). In the light of what you have siad collectively I am going to take a holiday from posting for a couple of weeks (though I may visit the Music Thread just to see what's happening). After that I will re-evaluate. So thank you for your kind words but as I said above it was a decision about me for me and not caused by anything else.

I agree, we've all had moments where this place gets to you and at the end of the day it's supposed to be fun so take a break and come back when ready.
It's not going to help your numbers when every time a potential new member logs in they see a daily thread about members leaving
